Cheesy westerns with special relish amazing. My favorite was the monster fries with perfectly crispy/ seasoned fries, homemade chili, relish and spicy cheese sauce! A must try in Lynchburg!

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious and in front of me within 3 minutes. My dad got a chili cheese dog, he said was also delicious. Hole in the wall kinda place with fast and efficient service.

Took my wife for her first visit to the area, and of course stop at one of the best places in the area. I ate at the Roanoke Texas Tavern, and this one was better Burger, and chili. Great cooks, and staff helped us become fans of Texas Inn.

It’s ‘famous’ for a reason. As a Lynchburg native, I have eaten there hundreds of times. My parents still tell me stories of drunken nights followed by Tea Room “hots and cheesys”;) It’s a quaint little joint with stainless steel counters and red swivel barstools. If you’re not a Coke fan, don’t even bother LOL. The food is good and quick. Staff are friendly and you’re sure to see many locals and regulars. Don’t expect to sit for a long meal. The unspoken rule is eat…then get the hell out. Someone is probably standing and waiting for your seat. Definitely worth checking out. Definitely lives up to the hype. PS, you can’t go wrong with a ” hot all the way and a bowl all the way”. If you’re extra hungry go ahead and grab Cheesy too. You can thank me later.

I have never once had a bad experience at the T room. And have; over the last 20 years sat on a red stool more times than I can count. On this particular visit I got to enjoy my favorite hobby; bringing a first timer to experience their first cheesy.

Texas Inn is such a unique place, I have to visit every time I’m in town. There’s just nothing else quite like it. You sit down, they yell out your order to the cook down the line, he fixes it immediately and your food comes sliding in front of you. My favorite is the Cheesy Western, a burger topped with a fried egg, some special relish that I theorize glows in the dark, but it’s delicious. If you’re looking for a unique Lynchburg cultural experience, come to Texas Inn. On one side you will have a guy in a 3 piece suit and the other someone covered in grease that just crawled out from under a tractor, but that’s the beauty of this place, it’s a one size fits all taste buds as long as you like a little grease and community with your burger. Don”t be afraid to order a “Funny.”

Quick, cheap and to the point. Nothing fancy here. Order it, eat it, get out. Counter seating for 15. That’s it. Good chili dogs and cherry pie.. burgers looks great going by.

Amazing burgers (cheesy Western to be exact) Wasn’t a fan of the chili, but did notice many people loved it. I guess it wasn’t for me. Clearly a go-to for locals. Happy to have run across this place while in town and would go back to order 2 cheesy westerns and share the big basket of fries with family. Place has limit seating (diner setup) and was busy when we arrive. Waitress handled everything like a pro and delivered great customer service.
