A little Cajun, All American, & south of the border, awesome service, with a great upbeat atmosphere. I was instantly greeted by staff and met the owner who welcomed me into her place and was looking forward to seeing me again, that was super sweet.
Because of that warm welcome we returned.
This place is awesome!!!! The food, the service and the atmosphere are all impressive.
The wings are so good and that ranch, oh my goodness!!!! Our burger was great too. We will be coming back to explore more of the menu.
Also—the “manager” at the new Cane Island location very conceited wanted to argue with me and tell me naked wings take the exact same amount of time as breaded wings. She claims “we cook all our wings the same way and fresh.” Well, if they are fresh then OBVIOUSLY it takes extra time to bread them. If this is the level of culinary knowledge you have running your restaurant—I can understand why errors are so consistent.
This review is specific to Pin Oak and Cane Island. 1093 is much further for us.
To ice the cake—I sent Kellie a message on Facebook about this on January 4th and have received no reply.
I’ll miss giving large tips to some of the longterm staff that has moved from location to location, but even most of them have left. My experiences of late help me understand why they may have left.
Best of luck to Kellie and Kevin.
As someone new to crawfish, I usually need a good dipping sauce, but this was the first time I didn’t need one. The seasoning was absolutely perfect! We also ordered the Boudin balls, which were excellent—crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Their dipping sauce had great flavor and complemented them well.
Looking around, every dish I saw looked amazing, and I can’t wait to come back and try something new. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, checking in on us and ensuring we had everything we needed.
After finishing my meal, I went to wash my hands—because we all know that’s a must after eating crawfish! The restrooms were fairly clean, with separate his-and-hers facilities, which was great.
Parking isn’t huge, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The atmosphere was lively, with friendly staff and guests. They also have a full bar and plenty of TVs, which had captions on—a thoughtful touch given the noise level.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and I truly appreciate the staff for making my visit so enjoyable!
