First time here, we were traveling through Texas looking for something close to the interstate and affordable. The food was delicious! The salsa was amazing I wish they sold it. We had brunch -Kevin’s Hangover Cure and the Big Country Breakfast with the signature Bloody Marys. Everything was fantastic, the service was great! Mason was super friendly and attentive. We’ll be back! Would live to see a location in Denham Springs Juban Crossing area! Been dying for a brunch restaurant there!

My family and I absolutely love Texas Borders ( All 3 locations) but especially the new Cane Island location. The food is great – always ( and affordable!) the service is fantastic and the interior is newly redone, plus the outside seating area is phenomenal!

Such a great local restaurant! They have ample seating. A park for the kids. An arcade and a private big room for parties. The food is delicious! I would definitely recommend getting the wings or burgers. They’re so good. Come try them out! They have specials on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays!

I came in one day just to ask for a take home menu because I had never eaten at this restaurant.

I was instantly greeted by staff and met the owner who welcomed me into her place and was looking forward to seeing me again, that was super sweet.
Because of that warm welcome we returned.

This place is awesome!!!! The food, the service and the atmosphere are all impressive.

The wings are so good and that ranch, oh my goodness!!!! Our burger was great too. We will be coming back to explore more of the menu.

I went here on the recommendation of other people’s experience they come here a lot. They say it’s good. I found that to be true. The server recommended a dip trio with crab meat queso. That was really good. I enjoyed the burger. They use real meat here. The burger has good flavor. I like how they grill the bun too. It’s a bar so you can get alcoholic beverages if you like. They also play decent music. They don’t play it too loud though. I thought that was good because sometimes bar is playing music so loud that you can’t have a conversation. I hear they have great crawfish here but right now it’s out of season. I’ll have to come back to try those. I would come here more often, but this place is like an hour away from my house.

We have been eating at Texas Borders for about 15 years, but all good things come to an end. Over the last couple of years service has gone out the window. Our last 4 carry out orders were not correct—missing at least 1 item each time. They write up the ticket with a check mark like it was double checked, but it’s obvious these establishments are more concerned with cranking out numbers these days. My credit card was not returned to me on the last visit as well. I had to go back to get it, and then the girl walks back with my ID—out of view—and returns several minutes later. If fraudulent charges appear on my card—I’ll know from where. The food is generally good—best wings in Katy. Unfortunately—I’m done dealing with inconsistency and empty promises to improve.

Also—the “manager” at the new Cane Island location very conceited wanted to argue with me and tell me naked wings take the exact same amount of time as breaded wings. She claims “we cook all our wings the same way and fresh.” Well, if they are fresh then OBVIOUSLY it takes extra time to bread them. If this is the level of culinary knowledge you have running your restaurant—I can understand why errors are so consistent.

This review is specific to Pin Oak and Cane Island. 1093 is much further for us.

To ice the cake—I sent Kellie a message on Facebook about this on January 4th and have received no reply.

I’ll miss giving large tips to some of the longterm staff that has moved from location to location, but even most of them have left. My experiences of late help me understand why they may have left.

Best of luck to Kellie and Kevin.

I was in the area craving something delicious and decided to search online for crawfish. This spot was the first to pop up, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint!

As someone new to crawfish, I usually need a good dipping sauce, but this was the first time I didn’t need one. The seasoning was absolutely perfect! We also ordered the Boudin balls, which were excellent—crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Their dipping sauce had great flavor and complemented them well.

Looking around, every dish I saw looked amazing, and I can’t wait to come back and try something new. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, checking in on us and ensuring we had everything we needed.

After finishing my meal, I went to wash my hands—because we all know that’s a must after eating crawfish! The restrooms were fairly clean, with separate his-and-hers facilities, which was great.

Parking isn’t huge, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The atmosphere was lively, with friendly staff and guests. They also have a full bar and plenty of TVs, which had captions on—a thoughtful touch given the noise level.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and I truly appreciate the staff for making my visit so enjoyable!

Joey was excellent – I used to be the GM for Marriott hotels, and I was very impressed with his service. He greeted us immediately after we sat down in the bar area. He was attentive to our needs and anticipated what we wanted. I asked him if he had a wet nap since I ate wings. He provided a towel and club soda which was over the top service. He is the reason I’ll be back!

Came here late one night. The service was slow but it’s okay. The food was ehh. Bar food. Nothing special. The kids liked the Alfredo. I got the buffalo chicken wrap- which had barely any chicken but the fries were good. There was a mix up on servers so they gave us the starter free which was nice.
