Forbes Tavern & Events at The Center at Eastman is a full-service restaurant open to the public for both dine-in and take-out. COVID safety precautions continue. Our varied menu has options for the entire family, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, as well as pizza. Locally sourced ingredients are used whenever possible. Reservations accepted for parties of 6 or more for the tavern, Hearth Room, screen porch and deck. Take-out orders may be scheduled online and via the Toast app.

Get take out order( again) … place my order request and PAY for extra sauce on chicken parm dinner for $$$ – food is not good. Basically NO SAUCE after ordering and PAYING for EXTRA SAUCE! Chicken was non existent and pasta was so soggy and minimal for price ♀️ I keep wanting to like this place because it is local and close BUT …. Time after time eating there or take out – the food is just not good. Expensive and food is subpar. Atmosphere and bar are good to have a drink and see friends though- but we can do that at home, correct ♀️

For what it is, I think Forbes is great. This is not what I’d call fine dining, but the burgers are delicious. Fried pickles were great too. Nice outdoor dining area when the weather permits. The decor is a little dated but it’s not a deal breaker.

Good luck finding it but I did and I hope you don’t. Our bartender named Jessica was amazing and funny. She paid super attention to every request that we had and we also noticed that she paid the same amount of attention to all of her customers. Their chicken tenders are delicious and their burgers are cooked perfectly.

Forbes just misses. There is a lack of atmosphere that permeates the place. The menu is limited. The beer selection on the other hand is good. It has very limited hours for being the golf course restaurant.

Golf is fantastic, beautiful course with excellent views. Recently punched greens a downer. Electric carts, but at the price paid for golf, they should have had GPS based displays in them. A few tricky holes with no info such as how far to a hazard.

My go to spot after a round of golf. Atmosphere is awesome, drinks are great and food is exactly what you’re looking for. I recommend y’all keeping the southwest egg rolls on the menu- love those things! Cheers

You’d likely find better food at a Walmart Cafe. It was absolutely terrible. Nothing fresh – everything was from a can or frozen. Save your money. Ok atmosphere and service though.
