For over 40 years, we’ve practiced full-scale recycling, composting, and sourcing local and sustainable ingredients .Our bar features our infamous margaritas, 16 taps with rotating craft beers, a large selection of tequila, mezcal, bourbon, and whiskey, including our own house-made tequila. I finally visited the Tex Mex Connection after working half a block away for over six years, and smelling the delicious scents that waft out of this place. Anyways, I was not disappointed with my visit. We sat in the upstairs eating area and were quickly waited on. Our server took good care of us, making sure that our drinks were refilled when needed. The food was very good, starting with the chips and salsa. We had some wings for an appetizer, as well as the bacon wrapped coconut shrimp, and they were all terrific. Our meals took a little bit to arrive, but we had plenty of food already. Everyone in my party liked their food. I had a half rack of ribs and french fries. The ribs were cooked well and had a ton of meat on them, but the meat was a bit dry. I didn’t like the sauce they put on the ribs, as it was more of a salsa type of sauce, instead of a traditional barbecue sauce and the flavor just wasn’t right for me. But all in all I was quite happy with my experience here.

Service was great. That’s it. The food missed the mark. The chips and salsa were the highlight of the meal. The nachos I could’ve made at home myself. Nothing special for the over priced melted cheese with tortilla chips. Won’t be returning.

Quiet upstairs dinner before the holidays get crazy. Very nice and Quick service. Had enough Vegetarian options to satisfy my wife and I. The margaritas are great and they recommend if your going to get more than 4, the pitcher is cheaper. Guacamole is very good too. Look forward to going back soon!

I have not been to Tex Mex in years. I always remember the food being really good. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a beef chimicangua. They were both so hard I could not eat any of the tortillas. The Margaritas were great and Brian, our server, was on top of things. It was just the food.

Staff are very friendly and it is a fun atmosphere. The food was not worth the charge. The fajitas were $25 but the meat was dry and I’ve had larger portions at Mexican take out. The hamburger we ordered for my daughter was charred and although the kitchen made another burger, it was still burnt.

Great place !! I highly recommend coming here. They have a wonderful selection of food and 3 different type of seating areas (covered outside, bar, restaurant). We ordered a bunch of different foods and all are great. Also, the chair designs are very cool.

Consistently average, at best. If I had to rate them on happy hour alone, the score would be higher. They have the best chips and salsa and margaritas in the area. Definitely opt for individual margaritas rather than the pitcher because you get more ice in a pitcher than actual margarita. Our dinner was underwhelming. Server was generally inattentive – more interested talking to his coworkers than refilling our waters or checking in with us. The food was served hot, but somehow, the shredded cheese in the enchiladas was unmelted while the corn tortilla was overcooked. You could tell it was shredded cheese from a bag, too. The redeeming quality was the mole sauce – delicious. I usually get the portobello fajitas, and I probably should have stuck to that, but something was telling me to switch it up. Because some of the food items are great while others fall short, I believe there is much room for improvement.

100% worth the hype! My review is a little late and I feel bad bc Kyle treated us outstandingly, but I’m leaving it now. Tex Mex has some of the best food I’ve ever tried and the drinks were fantastic! Kyle was very attentive and entertaining. Definitely make reservations if it’s a Friday/Saturday night as this place gets packed! Do not miss out on this great restaurant!

I brought a group of women here after we went to a wine tasting to get a solid meal in our system. We went in back in March. The waitress was very rude to us so we spoke with the manager. The excuse was she was new and was still learning, which was unacceptable as an excuse. I will say she did constantly apologize to us once we went to her manager, but that leaves a nasty taste in your mouth. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. I would really have to think about going back.
