I am beyond confused. This is literally the worst takeout experience I’ve ever had. The food was awful. The pad Thai was completely dry without any sauce, and the chicken was absolutely not fresh- it had a rancid aftertaste. The fried chicken in the other dish was obviously frozen nuggets. So much for fresh / authentic Thai. For over a $65 meal (4 dishes) this was truly atrocious. Just take a look at the photo of the pumpkin dessert we ordered. Everything but the side of rice ended up in the trash.

We enjoyed a deliciously spicy, well-flavored lunch on a Friday afternoon. Started we the samosas which were nice and thin, so crispy. I had the spicy green beans with chicken (spice level 6/10) and my husband had the drunken noodles (spice level 7/10). The green beans were so flavorful -perfect blend of spice, sweet, garlic, ginger! The noodles were also delicious but husband said he’d go even spicier.
The chef visited our table and both her and our waitress were very personable!

TLDR: Great food, great service, great decor, staff is eager to explain the big painting above the clock. Double check that the staff understands your order, it feels like English is not their first language. I also want to address the fact that there’s quite a lot of gluten-free items available!
I want to start this review by saying that I’ve already looked at the 1 star reviews this place has. Looks like many of them are menu mix-ups or complaints about reheated food. The reheated food complaints are my favorite because they both have pictures of take-out containers, meaning the customer took the food home, heated it up in their microwave or whatever, then complained that it was reheated. Absolutely amazing.
My gf and I started with steamed buns. They come stuffed with pork and goodies. The buns themselves were an excellent texture and nice and sweet but not overly sweet, and the sauce was amazing! Definitely lots of pork included. I somehow forgot to take a picture when the plate came out, so I’ve attached a picture of a steamed bun with a bite taken out of it. Please forgive me.
For my appetizer, I ordered Pineapple Fried Rice spicy level 0 with chicken as the protein. My gf ordered Red Curry spicy level 5. Both meals were excellent! Very well flavored, excellent texture!
I also highly recommend the bubble milk tea! I ordered Taro with a little extra sugar, and it was amazing!

EXCELLENT!! I ate here a little while ago, I’ve been meaning to leave a review for sometime. Ever since I ate at Tewada Thai, I have compared every other Thai restaurant to their excellence. So far, the food here was the most authentic and the most delicious I’ve had. The food came out hot and the server made me feel like I was in their home dining room. My favorite dishes were the drunken noodles with beef and tofu, spicy level 3.5 and Somtom (Papaya Salad). I also highly recommend the pumpkin custard, it melts in your mouth! Next time i’m ever in that part of Pennsylvania I’ll remember to order the crispy fried whole pompano with garlic in advance. Who would’ve thought there would be authentic and delicious Thai food in Butler, Pennsylvania?

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Staff was super helpful with ordering. Very friendly and inviting. I got the green curry with chicken. The eggplant was cooked to perfection. I like a lot of spice so I got a level 3 and it was perfect.

The food here was simply delectable (lol, I love using words like that ).
I felt like I had an auntie at the restaurant serving me and she was super sweet.
Definitely ask about authentic Thai foods (that are analogous to what they would serve in their home country ) that they serve in the restaurant. Their authentic green curry with beef and authenticThai eggplant is to die for! ✨️

Great little Thai spot. They have a broad menu with all the expected dishes and let you tune the spice level to your desires.
Portions are a generous size — neither my wife nor I could finish our dinners.
Extremely nice and attentive staff.
Ambiance wasn’t anything special– in a strip mall and feels like it. But very clean and well kept.
Price was a little high — over $50 for the two of us.

We tried this place for the first time and loved the food! Authentic Thai but not as spicy as other Thai restaurants. For reference, I usually order a 2 on spice and that’s almost too hot for me but here it was perfect. Best edamame ever! Loved the sticky rice and mango dessert. They didn’t have many on staff so sometimes we waited to talk to our server once they got busy. We will definitely eat here again when we want Thai food!

Such a friendly restaurant with such excellent service and the food was superb! Tasty and fresh! Just the best Thai in eastern PA. Sean and Amy.
