Truly a hidden gem and an unexpected find in the middle of Somersworth. As soon as I saw the pho noodles, I could tell that this place is legit. The broth was clear, and authentically flavorful. It has a blend of both Northern and Southern style Pho which I really appreciate. The servers and chefs were also very friendly and it was humbling hearing their stories and how the place came to be. And it is indeed very heartwarming to see a restaurant embracing the meaning of Tết (aka Vietnamese Lunar New Year). I certainly know where I will be for the occasion this year 🙂

This Viet restaurant is pretty legit, especially considering that it is an hour+ from Boston in sleepy Somersworth NH. I had the phở bò, and it was delicious. I am ethnic Chinese-Vietnamese and I judge Viet shops by the quality of its pho broth – TET’s broth was clean and clear with good depth of flavors. The noodle was semi al-dente which is ideal. The beef brisket and veggie toppings completed a satisfying bowl of noodles on a cold Friday afternoon. There are only a handful of Viet restaurants in the Seacoast NH area and this one is my top pick. Also, throw in a bonus point for having Viet coffee for added authenticity. I need to go back and try their version of king-of-noodle-soup, bún bò Huế. Go get some!

Tried them for the 1st time as I was craving chicken Pho. It was very tasty and reminded me of my favorite Pho place in MA. With that said, there must have been a freak accident in the kitchen because there was a staple in my broth. I bit on it while chewing thinking it was a bone and spit it out to me and my family’s surprise! I called and gave the staff a heads up, they were polite and apologetic. I’m just grateful I didn’t accidentally swallow this.. it could’ve been bad. We checked the kids’s noodles after that. Though delicious, I think I’m all set with Pho for a while.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came for a quick meal, but Tet Vietnamese Kitchen in Somersworth gave me a whole personality reset.

Let’s start with the pho. This isn’t just broth and noodles—it’s basically liquid poetry. The broth is rich, savory, and layered with flavor like it’s been simmering for generations, whispered to by grandmothers and monks who know the secrets of the universe. Every sip feels like it’s solving problems you didn’t even know you had. The noodles? Smooth, perfectly chewy, and downright addictive. The beef? Tender enough to make your steak at home pack its bags out of shame. And the herbs and sprouts bring that perfect fresh crunch—like confetti for your taste buds. Honestly, if I could bottle the smell of this pho and wear it as cologne, I would.

Now, about the Vietnamese milk coffee—WOW. This isn’t coffee; this is jet fuel with a velvet touch. Smooth, sweet, and strong enough to make you feel like you could run a marathon, write a novel, and negotiate world peace all before lunch. One sip and I went from “half asleep” to “main character energy” real quick. It’s dessert, caffeine, and motivation all in one glass. Move over, Starbucks—you’ve been officially friend-zoned.

And the vibe? Cozy, comfortable, and effortlessly chill. The kind of place where you feel at home whether you’re on a date, catching up with friends, or just hiding from life with a bowl of happiness in front of you. The staff is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere has just the right amount of buzz, and the whole experience makes you wonder why you’ve been wasting your time eating anywhere else.

Bottom line: Tet Vietnamese Kitchen isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a cure for a bad day, a love letter to flavor, and probably the best decision you’ll make all week. Come for the pho, stay for the coffee, leave with a full belly and a new favorite spot.

I ordered the Shrimp Tempura for an appetizer and was taken back by the freshness! I had no idea what I was in for when I got the Pho! It was absolutely perfectly balanced like a scientific chef was out back. Seriously! I will absolutely be going back!

I am not a huge fan of ordering food through a kiosk at a restaurant however it actually was pretty intuitive. So not really a complaint.

The only complaint I do have is that I have asthma and I can’t handle incense. Even though it was very mild and I was able to sit through dinner, it was very distracting and it prevented me from smelling all of the delicious Aromas from the food. I would have definitely preferred that.

I’ll start with the cons, there was really only one, I didn’t like having to use the kiosk to order. Other than that, this place is great. The atmosphere is very chill and I almost felt shocked walking out to the normal MB strip mall. I have only had the Bahn Mi sandwich so far, but is was one of the best I have ever had. The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The roasted pork was juicy and flavorful, the veggies tasted very fresh and there was just the right amount of mayo and hot sauce. I can’t wait to go back!

Convenient way to order at the kiosk. Super clean inside. Ordered spring rolls with tofu, summer rolls with tofu, Bahn mi with tofu, and salted iced coffee. I was over the moon with the coffee, it was the best I’ve ever had. I grew up with an Vietnamese Uncle so I wanted to try this place. I have to say my favorite banh mi is from Nickys in Portsmouth. I only ate a few bites of each of the food because the way the tofu is made here is just not for me. It got hard and chewy fast. It’s shredded tofu. Chunks are far superior. The sandwich was overall decent, I liked the cucumber and I loved the bread.

They are wheelchair accessible!!! The food was fantastic! Holds up to the Vietnamese food Ive had in the big city^ ^ Def a great date spot; good lighting/atmosphere & café style soft rock music was playing.

Favorite dish would have to be either the ribeye Phó or the Chicken Rice Plate. It’s a perfectly roasted fired bone-in chicken leg serviced w a bed of fried rice. And they have a condiment bar so you can really individualize your dish to your taste preferences.

Spring rolls rock!

We have big dog energy : food motivated. We will go anywhere for a good meal. The fact that this incredible place is 12 minutes from our house blows our minds.
Easter evening – pull into the tri city plaza in somersworth – I won’t lie – expectations are low.
We walk in and BAM – this place is down right beautiful. Whomever did the build out, we applaud you. Incredible atmosphere. Fast service meets moody, sexy vibe. I didn’t even know this could be accomplished. Mind blowing.
The menu screens on the walls didn’t feel out of place and gave it a metro area feel (here for it).
We didn’t see the sign that asked you to order and pay on a terminal. But, the counter help obliged us older folks politely. (Thank you!)
What we ordered: Beef Bahn Mi, summer rolls, and vegan vermicelli.
Every. Single. Bite. Was equally as satisfying as it begging. We wanted it to never end.
The Bahn Mi bread was perfectly crunchy and soft. The cilantro and carrots and whatever else they put in it was perfectly balanced in flavor.
Summer Rolls were yummy, chewy and fresh!
Peanut sauce – I’d like to bathe in it.
Vermicelli was so light and flavorful. It felt guilt free and comforting.
Peach boba tea – incredible.

The packaging, branding and personalization of everything was impressive. I’ve never seen such incredible detail without feeling intimated.

Well done to all hands who brought this together.
May the restaurant gods be ever in your favor.

100/10
