This diner is a true hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious classic comfort dishes done right, with generous portions and that homemade touch you just can’t fake. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything tastes fresh and made with love.
The interior has the most welcoming, homey feel like stepping into a cozy ranch style home. Warm wood accents, charming decor, and friendly service make it the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. It’s got that nostalgic diner vibe but with an extra layer of charm and character.
There’s plenty of parking, which is a big plus, and while it can get busy especially if you’re coming with a larger group it’s definitely worth the wait. Let me say this place is amazing, great food with the best taste and flavors without Salt and Pepper and there Adult beverages are so good!! The chef takes pride in cooking, you can tell the passion in the quality of food the presentation and all the flavors you get while eating. We will be back. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. The wait staff is kind and friendly as well. The music was at a perfect level where you can talk and not have to yell at the person across from you, and the selection of music was appreciated.

We’ve been in a half dozen times. The service and food have always been amazing. The only downside is the wait time. Get there early or you WILL end up waiting. It’s always been worth the wait though!

The staff was amazing!!! The food was unique enough to keep me on my toes of what should I get?!? The hash was THE BEST hash I’ve had anywhere in the country, thick moist peices of meat that shred easily… the carrots and potatoes added in it made it even better!

We love having a Lazy day off together, it doesn’t happen often. So when we do, Brunch is our go to! We wanted something local, and to try a new place. Let me just tell you that Terry & Maxine’s hit it out of the park! From the minute we pulled in, to the 2 gals at the front desk when we were leaving. It was clean, bright, welcoming, friendly……and this was all BEFORE we tasted the food! I got the Smashed Hash, and OH EM GEE was is delicious! I had to share it with my other half! We cannot say enough good things about the flavor of the Maple Corned beef! We grabbed a slice(ok we grabbed 2) of Shel’s apple crisp cheesecake and looooord did it take all my will power not to dig into it on the drive home! We brought home some leftovers that my beautiful dog jumped on us walking in the door to get too! Hands down great all around!

dare I say, BEST breakfast in all of Maine. The brisket is unlike anything else, so good on the Irish Benny. Terry & Maxine’s over IHOP any day. Only thing I don’t recommend is the baked beans.

I’ve gone here three times this month after discovering this place it’s that good! It’s worth the wait if they are busy, breakfast and lunch items are so good great selection. Best place to eat in town.
