With its limited availability for breakfast only they obviously offer a somewhat limited menu. Their portions are generous and well prepared if not a little on the spicy side for some unexpected dishes. Prices are competitive and they do have a few standout dishes like their bananas foster that are worth trying.
This venue is almost all atmosphere with the panoramic overlook from the 6th floor looking over the back bay. Regardless of crowd size the room never feels cramped or overly loud. Located inside the Grand Hotel may discourage non-hotel guests from visiting and the abysmal parking of the hotel doesn’t help.
The wait staff is prompt and polite. They always seem to be in the middle of a shift change when we’ve been in because they seem to shuffle personal readily and you could have interactions with three of four people in a single visit.
I don’t know how practical a venue this is unless you are staying at the hotel. The breakfasts are hardly and generous and priced accordingly I’m afraid so you won’t find any significant bargain here.

Waited for the food for around an hour, it wasn’t that busy (Tuesday morning). Everyone around was waiting for food as well. Extremely overpriced food, I asked for strawberries on my pancakes and expected a good amount for the extra charge, but got about a tablespoon of cut strawberries on my pancakes. The cups are dirty. Weird things in the juice. Coffee was brought in stained outside the mug which could easily have been sanitized. And coffee was overpriced and charged for refills, with no warning. Server basically checked in and felt like we were just getting annoyed. I have worked in the food industry and know even under stuff in the restaurant you should atleast explain to guests the situation.

During my trip to Ocean City, I visited the Grand Terrace Restaurant on the 6th floor of the Grand Hotel, and the view alone was worth it — from Assawoman Bay to downtown. I had a delicious breakfast of stuffed French toast and steak & eggs, in a relaxed, scenic atmosphere. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, it’s worth the visit.

Sabrina was a great waitress! She was very kind and on top of things! Chris brought out our food and he was also very nice. He made sure all of our orders were correct! We sat outside on the terrace and we had a beautiful view of the bay! There were also many plants and lights to really bring the space together. Definitely would come back again!

Our server Dimitar was excellent. The food was very good. The OC eggs Benedict was excellent. A lot of crab. The sausage gravy and biscuits were also very good. The only thing I have to say is that sausage gravy was a little on the cool side and it needed to be more warm. Their signature drink the Paloma needed a little less grapefruit juice and more tequila. Otherwise the service was excellent and I definitely come back.

Excellent experience!! We had Dimitar as our server all 3 times we ate here. Food was great and Dimitar was an incredible server. Coffee cup was never empty and he was extremely pleasant and accommodating each visit. Highly recommend the establishment and commend them on hiring excellent staff.

The Cure skillet dish sounded good, savory, but had a sweet syrup taste. It wasn’t good, menu didn’t mention anything sweet it in. I couldn’t finish it, wish we had went somewhere else.
