Social Profile:

Terra is Eataly L.A.’s rooftop restaurant inspired by earth, gin, and fire. The unique space centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where our chef will cook seasonal raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine. The resulting earthy dishes pair perfectly with the botanical cocktails, premium Italian wines, and more.

I ate at Terra twice within this last month and I’ve really enjoyed each visit. One highlight I wanted to point out from my recent visit, was the hostess sat my friend and I near a mother with 2 little kids (like ages 4 and 3). While the kids were pretty well behaved there was the typical fussing and moving about, and the mom getting up and down to handle their needs. I wasn’t really wanting to sit next to little kids at a restaurant like Terra, but I didn’t want to cause a fuss so I wasn’t going to ask for a different table. However, a different host/manager must have observed the situation and she discretely came up and asked if we wanted to move. I said yes and thanked her for arranging the table change. I appreciated attention to detail and reading the room without having to be asked.
The food is excellent and the patio space is very pretty and has good sun coverage and heaters if it’s cold. The waitstaff is very nice and attentive. The only downside was that once it got busier the the waitstaff kind of disappeared and it was a long wait to get coffee and desserts ordered. Thankfully in both instance I was there we were fine to just hangout and enjoy the space.

we expected more from this place. Very nice atmosphere on sunset. When we arrived, we were seated at a table, but after that we waited for a very long time for the waiter to come to us. The tables next to us, who arrived later, had already taken their orders, and we were still waiting and waiting… We were also disappointed with the small portions of dishes… The prices do not match the expectations of both service and taste… We ordered 5 dishes and only one was tasty… We just tried the rest… We will definitely not go to this restaurant again…

This store is as if they took a piece of Italy and planted it into LA. The vast amount of products they had to offer was outstanding. And the quality is superb. From the fresh pastries in gelato in the lower levels, to the deli and bakery in the middle, even reaching the top floor to the freshly grilled meats filling my nose as I wandered through. I recommend stopping by as this makes the drive to Los Angeles worth it. It was only my first visit and there was so much left to be experienced. And to top it off the service from the employees were superb. They were so attentive and ready to aid me. And the best part were the wine samples offered. The pleasant conversations describing the refreshing wines was a new experience for me. Don’t make a mistake and forget to stop by here.

Our son recommended this place to us, and we had a lovely lunch on a sunny day in LA. The best value option was the 2-course Italian Lunch for $35 each. The waitress said the course size was the same as ordering off the à la carte menu, and she was spot on! Our meals were huge and delicious. The only downside was the price of alcohol, but overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back to try more authentic Italian food.

Amazing experience, from the beautiful rooftop setting with strings of lights and the attentive staff. I felt like I was back in Europe, the perfect spot for cocktails, dinner, or a private party. Celebrating a friend’s birthday we started with a fabulous charcuterie board, paired with lamb kebobs, pasta and branzino. I look forward to visiting again next time I am in town.

The whole visit started off a little rocky. Lots of panic for a rainy Thursday night in LA. The hostess never (not once) greeted us or said goodbye. The bartender was awesome and offered some fantastic insights about the food. The server was close to perfect. He honestly couldn’t have done more to make our night great. The food was not up the amount of money we spent. $900 with ONE bottle of wine and 3 appetizers. Crazy. Italian restaurant with no meatballs. No coffee at Eataly after. Don’t go

We went there to celebrate my engagement with the girls, and it was such a fun night! The food was amazing, I ordered their most popular pasta, and it did not disappoint. The drinks were a bit strong but delicious and fancy. It was kind of a challenge to find a spot in a parking garage, so make sure you’ll be a bit early before your reservation. Otherwise I’ll definitely be coming back!

Easily the better of the two restaurants in Eataly, and well worth a try.

Their focus is skewers of meat, so make sure to get some of those, and their pasta is excellent as expected. We got the sharing plate of skewers for 4 and it came with potatoes, tomatoes and a sampling of all their meat, would recommend. The branzino was excellent as well.

We also got their pomodoro pasta and the squash ravioli and both were done well. The focaccia was good but small. Drinks were fairly standard but tasty.

There’s an outdoor patio as well as indoor seats and great for any number of occasions

Beautiful rooftop setting especially at Sunset time. Bartender Vincenzo was amazing. Manager Ayesha came by because our pasta took forever but we were happy! Food was good but the Burger was Stand-Out as well as the Tiramisu (and I’m not even a tiramisu person.) Will return especially when at the mall for movies.
