Great place to grab some teriyaki or sushi! The sushi was upper mid-grade, and the teriyaki was excellent. Wait time was substantial, but I think I went in at a time which was not convenient for them (just before close). Would recommend to a friend with time and money.

While the food is always good, this teriyaki time is the worst one (there are many in the area). They charge you for every little thing and are very curt and rude where all the other teriyaki times are not. Save yourself a bad time and go to the Anacortes or Mount Vernon locations instead, they’re much nicer.

When you walk in, you order and then sit down wherever you want. They offer free water and hot tea. We went for Sushi and that seems a little pricey. There’s a small Sushi bar with about 4 or 5 seats. The girl at the order station is really nice and helpful.

Got the Katsu roll, honey garlic chicken, & a regular Katsu plate (not pictured). Got one of the plates with pork fried rice. It was BOMB! Food was still hot when we got home cause they put it in foil! 10000000/10 we will be back 🙂

As someone that makes it a point to get spicy chicken teriyaki in almost every town I’m in, I would like to say this is one of the worst spicy chicken teriyaki entrées I have ever consumed. If you were a fan of rubbery chicken, this is your place. What a waste of money. Gross. The service was great.

The tables feel like they have grease left behind and we asked for spicy food and they only gave us a small plate. We were four people and the waitress was not kind enough to ask if there was enough sauce and we had to ask the sushi cook and he gave us enough sauce. The food is very good but the service is very poor.

I have been going here for quite some time. When the first couple times I ordered the Chicken and Gyoza it was amazing. Great portion size for the money($14.99). This item was my go to when ever I get lazy and didn’t want to cook. I used to be able to split the meal into two so that I would have lunch for the following day.

Recently, I have notice a SEVERE decline in the amount of food for the exact same price and I am not talking about skimming off little bit of chicken and rice. I used to get three compartments of the to-go box completely filled up. Main compartment was filled rice and the other two smaller compartments was chicken and roughly 8-10 gyoza pieces with sauce cups.

Now, its a single scoop of rice and 4-5 strips of chicken in the main compartment then one small compartment is used to hold the sauce cups and second compartment has 3-4 pieces of gyoza, for the same price! I would understand that they need to lower the amount of food to save money but then the price needed to match the previous price to portion standard that they have set. The original price and portion I previously stated was $14.99 before tax. Now you get half the amount of food and guess how much you pay?
$8?
$10?
NO!
It’s still $14.99.

This is not about how much the food cost. I understand that restaurants need to survive and make money. But when you engage in these tactics, you lose my patronage. All you needed to do was raise or lower the price with a reasonable statement explaining your situation. I would absolutely continue to support the restaurant if you were transparent.

I wish the restaurant and staff well. I hope to return in the future, but for now I will take my patronage elsewhere.

Not a fan of the inconsistency in charges and pricing. Constantly flip flops on whether they can substitute something or if they have to charge more or not to do something.
Constantly takes way longer ti order with all the “let me check with the kitchen” holds they put us through.
It seems like they dont really communicate well overall with each other and depending on who is working will change the price you pay.
