The food is really good and the owners are usually very nice but damn… they get my order wrong literally every single time. I’ve been here 5 times, 5 times my orders been missing something. This last time was the final straw, after my gf brought the food back to the car (we called and got to go) and they forgot 2 orders of gyoza. I then went in myself to ask how is my order wrong every single time and the dude just laughed about it…I understand mistakes happen but 5 for 5? Yeah wont be back.

This is my go-to teriyaki place. Is it a tiny little hole in the wall with limited seating? Yes. But the food is amazing and the people are super nice. They offer generous portions, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Spicy chicken is bomb, beef teriyaki is delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken is really where it’s at. Big pieces of meat with no gristle whatsoever. So so so good.

Staff was super friendly. I got the teriyaki and katsu combo. The staff recommended and gave me garlic sauce to dip the katsu (in addition to the normal katsu sauce). It was delicious! I’ll most likely come back.

I hate to give such a poor review but I got a Campylobacter infection (from ingesting raw chicken) after eating at Teriyaki Express. I have been super ill for 8 days and it’s been awful. The food was tasty but I could not eat here again. The WA food department will be calling me so I can report this – I had to go to the emergency room from being so ill from the chicken. I advise this restaurant to review its hygiene practices.

Loved it! I just discovered this little gem and I’ve been living in the area for so long! As soon as you open the door you’re greeted and you can place your order at the register.
I had the general tso’s plate which was the best I had in a very long time, so crispy and the sauce is not watery which has been in other places I had it. The size of the plates is huge and the order was ready pretty quickly.
