My husband and I decided to try something new than we usually do for Japanese food so we ordered from DoorDash as they were offering a discount on a certain order total of 10 percent. I got the bento box and my husband got the teriyaki bowl. The food was fine but the presentation of the food is lacking. I would have preferred that the rice and meat had their own component space in the box and not having the meat packed on top and my husband thought that the bowl seemed unorganized. We believe in trying new things but will keep trying going forward.

Received coupons for this place in the mail.I have been getting them about once a month. Me and my wife have been wanting to try it as it just opened a few months ago so we took our coupons and decided to give it a try.The little girl that was working there was not familiar with the coupon that was in there ad that I showed her.I don’t really think that she even knew what a coupon was.After a confusing talk over with the cook in the back they decided it was for another Teriyaki City Grill that was opening somewhere else. I looked that ad up and down and could not see anywhere that it said a specific Teriyaki City Grill.There were three different locations with a new one opening but nowhere on the ad it stated a specific location. Again the little girl and her cook counter part couldn’t show me on the ad either so they just stuck to it being a different location. I was really looking forward to trying this place but not only will I not go there again I would highly recommend you calling these misleading people and see what location is taking there coupons before you waste your time and gas.The worst thing was that the place was completely empty except the two employees.

Atmosphere is okay but maybe cuz I went at night. May try again in daytime. Prices are really great. Food is pretty good. Clean place. The neighborhood is not really that great. I think better to go in the daytime. Parking to go to this place is not easy. You have to go all the way down past In-N-Out restaurant very far down. Then make a u-turn so you can get to the left side of the road to finally get into their parking which is complicated to get to.

Dropped by opening weekend. The parking was bad as their was a crowd and the lot was small. Quite a few customers parked at the Kelly Moore paint parking lot. Not sure how that’s going to be in the long term.
The service was okay. The food was average. I thought the portion size was a bit small however. We ordered the ribeye and chicken bowl. One with white rice and one with brown rice. We also ordered the Lion King bowl. This took a few mins longer to come out, but we thought it was strange that it was just a bit warmer than room temperature. As I mentioned before the food was okay. Solid 3 stars.

cious, Simple, and Fast! Tried this teriyaki place for the first time. It is definitely a comfort food and anyone will like this food. Service is good, fast, and staff is very friendly. Place is clean.
We tried 3 bentos. You can pick between white or brown rice, protein, salad, and fruit. All the meats are tender, have the perfect amount of sweetness, and portion is pretty good.
They are out of the soft serve ice cream when we went, so will definitely come back for the ice cream and other dishes

I had the chicken beef and ribs bento box. The ribs were so good I went back and ordered another set of ribs for later. The customer service was awesome I had never been there before and they were quick to point out their favorite recommendations so thumbs up. Sorry I didn’t take any pictures cuz I ate it too fast.

This is the best teriyaki restaurant I had in years. The chicken has the perfect tenderness and flavor. The sauce is not too sweet or salty, just perfect. This is truly a healthy bowl with your choice of white steam rice or organic brown rice, which I picked and it was wonderful. I felt healthy after eating there. Not too much or too little, just right. I’ve been there five times now and every time it brings me back for more. Their ribeye steak is also one of my favorite, it’s so good and flavorful. I often bring back some food for my husband and he’s a picky eater, and he also likes it. I really like this place alot and hope they stay in business for a long time. It’s close to my home and glad they came into the neighborhood.

It’s just not delicious. The chicken is a little too fatty for me. I wish it cooked a little more. The steak is more like shaved beef and also really fatty. All of it is lacking flavor overall. Compared to terriyaki madness it DOESN’T compare

I really have no complaints here! The food tastes great, the prices are comparable with most restaurants; we paid roughly $15/person.
I got the steak and chicken, my wife got the lion king box. We both loved the food! Music is pleasant and the bathroom is clean. We’ll definitely be coming back.
