My wife is very picky when it comes to aguachile, and she absolutely loved the one at El Cevichón 673 — which says a lot! We went with my father-in-law and were all blown away not just by the food, but by the service.
The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell he truly cares about every plate he makes. He even adjusts the spice level depending on your taste, and he nails it. The aguachile shrimp is packed with flavor, and their secret sauce is ridiculously good — citrusy, spicy, and fresh.
If you’re not into spicy, don’t worry — they also have a shrimp cocktail that’s more on the tomato-y, refreshing side. Everything tastes clean, fresh, and made with love.
Whether you’re grabbing it to go or eating there, El Cevichón 673 is a hidden gem. For all my shrimp and fish lovers: I’d recommend this spot over any other shrimp cocktail place out there. They really put heart into every dish.
