Absolutely love this coffee shop! The atmosphere is 10/10 with super cozy seating, making it perfect for working or catching up with friends. Their latte coffee itself is rich and flavorful, best I’ve had in ages. Their pastry selection is also top-notch, and the service is always fast and welcoming. We had the Avocado Toast and it was delicious! Highly recommend for a study session or a quick, quality caffeine fix. Definitely my new go-to neighborhood cafe! They have big parking lot and accessible parking as well.

What a great find! When I read about this new café in San Marcos and that it was part of the Teri campus nonprofit that supports kids and adults with developmental delays and special needs, I wanted to check it out. It is a huge, beautiful new campus out in the foothills. Everything is new and beautiful. We sat on the outside patio and brought our dog. Gorgeous views. The food was excellent. We came for breakfast and had the gluten-free chilaquiles option and the gluten-free avocado toast, which is the best I’ve ever had! The chai tea and cocoa was also excellent, and they have all kinds of alternative milks which we appreciated. They have organic farming here and use a lot of the produce in the café. This is a wonderful place to come and enjoy a meal. Every Friday and Saturday at 5 PM they also have live music. We look forward to checking out the nearby Borneman theater that is also a part of the campus. We will definitely be back!

So I went to this place again to give it another try plus I was on tour here with my parents and I got the matcha latte was okay but not as great as I wished it would be. The matcha had a strange vanilla aftertaste which I wasn’t a fond of. The drinks and food was okay, but I think it could be better. Although I like the cause, I do think that the food and drink quality could be as good as the cause for this place. Anyway the service was great per usual and it looks cute inside it’s just the food and drinks weren’t as good as I hoped it to be. I think there should be new suppliers for this cafe so they could get food quality matcha etc. Anyway I did go there because my parents and I were looking at the jobs their for me and so on. Just to clarify I’m only being honest and I am not trying to be rude whatsoever just like for all cafes to improve so they can succeed more and if course with success has to come with criticism to bring improvements to become more successful.

Very good! We had the egg & bacon breakfast burrito, and it was the perfect amount of food. We also had Avocado Toast and it was “delicious!” Would order again and will probably be back before our trip is up. We had Soy Latte and a Caramel Latte, and both were good. Not bitter. Not overly flavored. Great way to start the morning. Nice little place!

I showed up for the Tomi Tom Sho. Food selection was great. Everything looked good. I went with the pulled pork sandwich. My friends got the fish and chips and burger. Wine selection was great. Even local beers were available. Staff was great. Location is great. A little off the beaten path, but that’s part of the charm. Definitely worth seeing the music, here.

Beautiful location, I accidentally bypassed it at first but finding our way back home was way easier. Lots of open land around, we walked up and there are d plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Friday night and there was even live music on the patio area.

Teri had a great variety of food and coffee/non coffee beverage options on the menu as well as standing fridges with a variety of canned and bottle options (everything from freshly squeezed orange juice to even a large selection of beers and wine). Looked like they even had wine by the glass as well. I got my standard Americano, 30 oz was about $3 +/- and it was really good. The kids opted for hot chocolates which they really enjoyed and they were very reasonably priced.

I got a few chocolate chip cookies and coffee/brown butter/walnut cookies to bring home. My son got a breakfast bagel to snack on (what’s better than breakfast around dinner?) And my daughter got one of her favorites, a jalepeno cheese bagel. She really enjoyed it, said one of the most flavorful, best best bagels she has had.

The staff was super friendly and all smiles. It was quite busy for a Friday evening which is good and the staff kept up with the crowd. There is also a cute store where you can purchase some locally made items like jams, jellies and dog treats. Some fun gems, I got a cute homemade ghost magnet. Looks like they also have an event space as well as some fun activities planned.

We’ll be back soon, great place to hang out and just relax. Plus Teri is doing a great job helping out their community and great causes. Thank you TERI, Yelp Elite, and Anne for another awesome night out!

I have to share my review about Terri Common Grounds because we had such an amazing experience having our Mission Hills High School Cross Country banquet here. Every single person we worked with was amazing! They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The facilities are gorgeous and everyone (150 people) in attendance felt the same way. I would not hesitate to contact them to host an event here. The pricing is very reasonable and you will not be disappointed. Not to mention every time you or anyone from the community books with them, it goes right back into the development of the Campus, positively impacting the neuro diverse community for life. Go check them out!
