I was pressed for time and was unable to dine-in, but I was very pleased with how clean the restaurant was, including the bathroom. The service was very quick. The 2 tacos I ordered were delicious. I ordered a potato/egg/ chorizo taco. The tortilla tasted fresh and I love that it came toasted. The salsa was also very very good! Overall very pleased with my experience! Definitely will come again!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Great layout which was a Links style course. Greens are the most important thing for me when playing and were in good shape, rolled true but somewhat slow. Fairways were in great shape as well but off the fairways and sand traps were spotty at best. Overall worth the price at their Twilight rate and would have gotten 4 stars if not for the bunkers. Will play again.

The reason for the low rating is because me and my wife came to try this place due to a good rating on google but to our surprise it was close. I’m literally outside the restaurant at 10:45 am and it’s close. I can’t say the food or service is good since it’s close even though on line it says that they open at 8:30 am. The door says they open at 10 am but it’s not true. We wanted to try them but either they are out of business, short staffed or lacking professionalism. Guess we will never know what’s wrong with this restaurant.

Was looking for a place close to our new place. I couldn’t figure out what was this places specialty. Some holes in the wall have good food, some go for the instagram worthiness. This one was just normal. I want to support local places but I just wish something stood out.

Nice bright room, good cheery service, but no chips and salsa on the table. I had flautas, which were tasty, and more lightly fried than many other places. The frijoles refritos were above average, great taste and consistency, but the Mexican rice was not. We were the only people in the restaurant. I hope the business picks up.

Worst Experience ever!
I took my 8 year old son to get his first experience at playing golf to Los Lagos. The manager “JOE” would NOT let my son join the camp because there was too many kids. One more one less it should not have been the problem, I was willing and able to pay almost any amount so that my son’s first experience would have be a great one together with his friends from school.
I read the reviews before i wrote this bad review. It seems to be a constant issue with bad customer service and over all bad atmosphere. There are other places to take lessons like Palm View Golf Coarse in McAllen, they have better reviews and friendly service.

Used to enjoy playing this course. Last week was embarrassing. Greens were poor with more loops then a roller coaster. I very rarely ended up off the fairway but when I did it was like trying to find a white ball in unmowed yellowed grass. You would think they would cut the grass a little shorter if you just roll out of the fairway. Plus they were letting twosomes go off the back nine during our second round and twice I was hit into. I really want a stress free round especially when I’m playing the course. didn’t happen and worse a gopher could have made the greens better.
