Typically, I’m searching for vibrant colors, a slightly worn appearance, or a flurry of activity, but this truck exuded a different kind of energy. Its street-smart vibe, coupled with its prime location at a humble gas station, hinted at something special. The Jalapeño poppers are a must-try. A fresh jalapeño, generously topped with cheese, grilled to cheesy perfection, and then drizzled with a homemade cilantro avocado sauce. Best tacos hands down in the area. From the very first bite, you can tell everything is fresh and made with care. The meat is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor, not dry or bland like so many other places. The tortillas are warm, soft, and cooked just right, holding everything together without falling apart.

I had their Shrimp tacos before so came back for that and also decided to try Shrimp Burrito..oh my gosh its the best I’ve had and just what I like. I relied on Dos Coyotes before for ST, but this is so above that in tastes, ingredients, and is more true to cultural tastes then DC. So glad, now I know where to go when I want Shrimp Tacos and Shrimp Burritos.

I asked for some salsa to go with my order which was $30 for two burritos and I was given a half filled container of green salsa. When I asked for one more, she said I would have to pay 3.50. I had already paid for the order and didn’t bring additional money. I requested that she gave me one since I am a returning customer and I’ve been ordering from this Taqueria for many years and she said no it was the policy and would make no exception. The customer service is great, the food is flavorful and filling, and the price is reasonable. I pay more at other restaurants that don’t even come close to how the food tastes here. The pictures speak for itself. Must try!

Best taco truck ever! Their jalapeno teq’s for just over a $1 are great to add to any order. Chorizo breakfast burrito is delicious as is all their tacos, carne fries and shrimp quesadilla.

Best shrimp super burrito I’ve ever had, by far. Never been to a place that seasoned their shrimp so well. The carne asada super burrito was also delicious. The hot salsa had a great spice to taste ratio.

We had asada tequilleros tacos and they were absolutely amazing!! They were fresh and full of flavor. You can feed a family on a budget with delicious food, no bells and whistles. Bring your own drinks and plan to enjoy them in your car.

Trust me, read my review!… I am a taco junkie and always looking for the best of the best in street style tacos. Went to this laguna location and the wife got me 4 asada tacos and she got herself 4 shrimp tacos. When she got into the car and opened the container my first impression was wow! I had to take pictures which I am including here. Perfecty made and presentation was excellent! A culinary art of tacos in my opinion. Not something I’ve seen from a taco truck. I can appreciate the fine details such as red onion instead of white, equal portions of cilantro onion and salsa and the roasted open-faced peppers, sliced radishes and substantial portions of meat are a bonus! I was impressed. Now for the flavor! One bite and I instantly knew this is my new favorite spot for tacos! Juicy asada and full of bursting flavor! Wife said her shrimpn tacos were the same and that the shrimp were perfectly cooked. She went back to increase the tip and to let them know they doing it right! If I could change anything it would be to have the galt location be this good! The galt location is not even close to this and after the third time there I would not go back. Galt location did not use red onion, they did not include roaster peppers or radishes, and the asada was overcooked dry and bland. So for now I will travel to elk grove when I want good tacos! Bravo!….update. I gave the galt location another chance today and they redeemed themselves! Did you guys tell them how to get it right? Just like here. Keep it up galt!!!
