Today was our 1st trip to Tequilas. We were immediately seated. Only 2 other tables had customers. One table left shortly after we got there so it wasn’t at all busy. We got our chips and salsa quickly. Ordered our drinks and received them. Then the waiter disappeared for over 10 minutes. We were about to pay for our drinks and leave when the waiter finally showed back up to take our order. We had decided that we would not be back…then the food came out…. it was fabulous! Absolutely fabulous! We normally tip well but only left a 15% tip. We will definitely go back because the food was that good. I hope the service is better next time.

I have heard many good reviews of this place so I thought I would give it a try this past weekend. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed. Not what I expected. Very average food and so was the service. Waitress was nice but not very attentive. Most Mexican places bring you chips and salsa for free with your meal. But not here. That’s extra. The place was fairly slow. Maybe six other tables at most. I wish I could give it a better rating but I can’t. There are many other Mexican restaurants in Gastonia that are much much better.

I’ve seen this restuarant and said that I was going to check it out and now I’m finally glad that I did. The two times that we’ve been there the food has been great and the service has been great. I will definitely be back again to try something new. Great job!

The serving staff from Amanda, Dana, Dayana, Neska, & Pamela are all absolutely amazing! The whole staff is very friendly including Alex the manager and Israel greeting you at the door. Ramon, the head cook is clearly one of, if not the best cook in Gastonia! The drink selection is second to none, and the service is always top notch. 100% recommend to have a great meal with the whole family.

I love Tequilas! Great service, fast, great food at a good price. Check out the Texas Burrito….the pork and onions hits differently. It is my new Go To! Fajitas are excellent and the carnitas bowl. It is a win everytime.

I love tequilas! I’ve been going to tequilas since they first opened up their first restaurant around 2000. Five stars for service, five stars for atmosphere, and almost five stars for food. It would be five stars if it was all vegan. But they do a great job hooking me up with a fantastic meal every time whether it be a burrito, some tacos, or the thing I usually get the most is a salad black beans on a bed of romaine and mushrooms cooked just right, purple onion, avocado, it’s just legit. And it’s hard to resist not overeating because I always want to get some guacamole on the side too. And it’s a great price! I love tequilas!

The food here was amazing! We went on a busy Friday or Saturday night and they were able to seat us in 10-15 minutes. The chips and salsa were delicious. There were a lot of options to choose from and the prices were affordable. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos. I would go back again for more great food!

Came with a group of friends for dinner after hiking. We had some chips and salsa, delicious…Ordered fajitas and it was yummy! I didn’t order a margarita this time but I will next time!! We enjoyed our time there. Everyone enjoyed their food too! Our waitress was attentive and helpful.

Do not order to go at this place. I ordered a combo and it says on ticket I’m supposed to get lettuce cheese sour cream beans and rice. I got none of that. I call to complain and she didn’t want to hear it. Even though my ticket says I’m supposed to get that. I go to this place at least once a week and to be treated like they don’t care to hear a complaint I won’t be back.
