The food was excellent, we had the Mexican Trio which includes carne asada, chicken, shrimp, pinto beans and rice. It was easily enough food for two, the rice was amazing. The carne asada is cooked very well, as was the chicken. The shrimp are quite large and has a very distinct sauce which is creamy and delightful. The seafood enchiladas are full of seafood and had the same sauce as the shrimp. We also had the fried ice cream which was good. They bring water in a bottle which is a nice addition. The tea was good as well.

We went to Tequila Village 11/29/2023. I had a terrible sinus infection – the place was absolutely packed. It was soooo loud. My sinuses and head may have exploded. The food I thought was average … I didn’t enjoy it at all.
Well, recently one of my neighbors was telling me how much she loves the place. She loves the food and says the service is good. So … we decided to give it another try. I’m sooo glad we did.
We went for dinner Wednesday, April 2. What a fantastic dinner! On Wednesdays they have margaritas for $5.20. Can’t beat that. While it was not as good as my personal at-home-bartender makes, it was very good (especially for $5.20, right?!).
Chips and salsa were good … I really wish they were more generous with their salsa. I could eat a bucket of that salsa!
My husband, a big time burrito fan, ordered the pork carnitas burrito. He was super happy with it. He forced me to try it and I agree, delicious. He loved the sauce and would have enjoyed a bit more of it.
I ordered the pollo chipotle and honestly it was one of the yummies entrees I’ve ever had in a Mexican restaurant… anywhere.
It’s been 8 days and we can’t wait to return. I’d like to try the whole menu but I can’t stop thinking about that pollo chipotle. Mmm mm m!

This is one of the finest restaurants in Monument. The food is always delicious. The service is excellent. And it is always very clean. The prices are reasonable. And don’t forget to get dessert. The flan and fried ice cream are amazing. The seafood sauce on the seafood chimichanga is delicious.

On the way to Boulder, we went for Family Dinner at Tequila Village Mexican Cuisine Monument and tried “Mojo De Ajo” with octopus after a long time and goes very well with rice, beans and tortilla. I personllay Liked it. Also ordered few veg items and everything prepared well as expected. Good portion of food also.Our family dinner at Tequila Village Mexican Cuisine Monument during our Boulder trip was awesome! I especially loved the “Mojo De Ajo” with octopus—seriously, that taste, with the rice, beans, and tortillas, was something I hadn’t had in ages and it was so good! We also got a bunch of vegetarian dishes, and they were all cooked perfectly and tasted way better than we expected. Plus, the portions were huge, so everyone left stuffed!

Amazing dinner at this local restaurant. The myth holds true – the best restaurants are in strip malls. Must tries are the perfect margarita, Pollo Mole and margarita sampler. Great staff with amazing hot and fresh entrees with a deep menu.

I ordered food at 3pm to pick up at 5pm. Wasn’t ready until 6pm. This has happened on numerous occasions. I paid online but they don’t make the food until you show up and ask them to. This time, they said “someone else took your food”.
Are they not even checking names of orders and letting other people sign for orders that are pre-paid online? So, I had a paid order that someone else took off with.
The food is great and we used to get takeout orders here with the whole family every week, but I’m not coming back, ever. It’s a big loss of lifetime value for a loyal customer who has been going for many years.
Didn’t even get a refund for the horrible mix-up. It’s a shame because I love supporting local businesses. The staff didn’t even seem apologetic about the whole experience, which made me even more livid. There are plenty of other great Mexican spots who actually care about your business.

Loved the food . Had the beef tacos, enchiladas and sopapillas. Plus margaritas were excellent. Service was perfection . Defiantly a go to for authentic Mexican food . Can’t go wrong here and the salsa was the best I have had in a long time.

A hole in the wall place!! We absolutely loved everything about this place! The tamarind wings were SO GOOD. I loved the margarita flight. They offer Maggie Margaritas for kids here, which are non alcoholic. I had my first molcajete here and it arrived to the table still boiling!! Very family friendly restaurant. My kids loved all their food too. We had such a nice server. Did not catch his name but he was very friendly. The menu is also very beautiful as well. The food portions are larger. Spent about $100 (without tip) for a family of 5, kids drinks, kids meals, adult beverages, wings, and one molcajete! Not all of the menu is pictured here. There is definitely something for everyone here!
