My wife and I were crazing Mexican food but we were growing tired of the same old choices. We decided to venture out in an effort to find the holy grail. Well… we did not find it but the food we did find wasn’t too bad. We always try the shrimp cocktail if it’s on the menu. This was one of the best we’ve had in a very long time! My wife went with her go to meal Chile rellenos . I neglected to take a pic of that. I went with shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce. Everything was decent. Would I go there again. Probably not. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it. If you like seafood, which I do, give it a go. ✌

This place is very close to my house and it’s never busy inside. I love that because the food is always delicious and the margaritas are too. They have a special on their margaritas on Wed. We will continue to go as long as the service is good and the food remain delicious. You can also order to go. I see a lot of people do that.

I’ve been here twice so far with two of my coworkers that come almost every Wednesday. The drinks are great, food is great, but the customer service is HORRIBLE. The first time I was there the waitress was extremely rushed and not too friendly. We went again yesterday (8/15) and were charged for two full price small margaritas instead of two half-off large margaritas. When we questioned the cup sizes since the first receipt said large margaritas, when the waitress brought the cups over she told us “If you come every week, you’d know what the large cup is” and stated how she remembered one group of customers that come every week, but not my coworkers that come every week. Overall bad vibes from all the waitress staff. We’ll be finding somewhere else to hang out after work.

I ordered a steak torta and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The meat had a weird taste and on top of that it was overcooked and gummy. My torta was filled with a ton of fat and tough meat. Bun was hard… I’m completely disappointed !!

Upon entering, the restaurant smelled musty like a damp mop and oversoaked wood but we decided to try it anyway. The food was actually really, really tasty. The chicken tacos were juicy & the carne in the burrito had a char from the grill that set it over the edge. Yum! The menu posted here is not current, but it’s only slightly more expensive overall.
I’d gladly give it another chance to improve the score I gave them.

I ordered a steak torta and that was the worst torta I’ve ever had. The meat was awful ! It was over cooked and gummy with a ton of fat. The meat did not taste right. I’ve been eating from them for years and the steak has never been this horrible. Completely disappointed…!!
