I was hesitant to give this restaurant a try after it changed from Casa Colima. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it is. They kept a lot of the old menu with a major upgrade on margaritas. Luis can throw down a delicious cadillac margarita. I still have PTSD from poor service when it was Nacho Mamas, ha! These guys are a breath of fresh air killing it with good service, food and drinks.

Isabel is the absolute best! Every time we visit Taqueria Factory, she welcomes us with a big smile and such a great attitude. She always makes sure our table is well taken care of and goes above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Her service truly stands out—thank you, Isabella!

Not what it used to be. Food is fine in a pinch but I wouldn’t come back. It was just ok and the food felt very heavy. Not much else to say.

First of all, with a name like “Tequila Factory” I was expecting to see a list of good tequilas. I didn’t see a menu with tequila options and looking behind the bar, I only saw a couple of popular big brands. So that was a huge disappointment. And the Cadillac marg was average. We had the Queso Birria and steak tacos. The tacos were ok but not good enough to return. Overall, if you are a fan of tequila, don’t bother going. If you love Mexican food and need a quick fix and somewhere close, this will suffice but I’d drive 10 more minutes for something tastier.

First impressions of this little restaurant was, “it has character!”, with the excitement to try something new.
Unfortunately, from the food to just chips and salsa was far from impressive.
The meats (beef & chicken) had terrible flavors overcoated in cinnamon and the chicken with some kind of weird chemical flavor.
The chips and salsa were “OK”. I mean, how can someone mess that up? – they brought us twice a half filled bowl of chips and a very small portion of salsa.

I believe this place has a high chance to thrive with some small tweaks to their cooking. Mexican is my favorite style of food, and speaking from experience, this has to be my least favorite restaurant.

I recently dined at Casa Colima, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. I started my meal with the chips and salsa, and let me tell you, they were **on point**—fresh, crispy chips paired with a perfectly seasoned salsa that had just the right kick!
I opted for the spinach tamales, which were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor. My husband and son ordered the deluxe burrito and raved about it. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a crisp Diet Pepsi that was refreshing and complemented my meal perfectly. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in a warm and inviting setting, I highly recommend Casa Colima. Whether you’re craving tamales, burritos, or just a great plate of chips and salsa, this place has it all! Can’t wait to come back for more! During warmer weather they open up their patio.

Update: Carlos was our server and he was perfectamente delightful!!! He helped us navigate the menu and offered suggestions. We look for him to be the Manager one day! Way to go Tequila Factory for your amazing staff selections like Carlos!

Update:
New owners; New name!
The transition was seamless! And the high quality of the food and friendly service is premiere! What a joy!
We had Diana, Gary, and Mae (owner) serve us with their smiles and amazing food!

PREVIOUS OWNERS:
We had the pleasure of being served by Christina, Carlos, and Katty, at Casa Colima in Tigard! What a trio! And the food was on point! We will be back again!

2nd and 3rd Visits: Ryan was our server both times. He makes a mean tableside Guacamole, and Flan dessert! Food is consistently high standard here, and only surpassed by Ryan’s customer service!!

We stopped to have an early dinner at this little hidden restaurant in Tualatin, OR ~ Casa Colima Mexican restaurant.
They have a great selection of authentic Mexican dishes, drinks like margaritas, Coronas, and other specialty cocktails.
You’ll start with their chips and house made salsa while you browse their menu featuring authentic Mexican cuisine of all varieties. Love Mexican food? Everything you could want is on the menu here at Casa Colima Mexican Restaurant.
The wait staff are all very friendly and attentive. I offered a large tip because of the good service. Thank you.
Got to love their outdoor patio/tent with all of the colors and themes that make it feel like we were in Mexico! Viva!
The restaurant is clean and orderly with plenty of seating in both sections of the restaurant. You can tell the staff there really keep things clean.
Parking lot is on the smaller side, but you can squeeze in before 5 p.m.
Access to the restaurant requires you to turn around on the highway if you’re headed down 99w toward King City.
This place is worth the effort and money.
Highly recommend.

My husband and I were traveling from Portland to the coast and randomly stopped here for lunch. I was immediately happy we did. We were greeting by a very friendly staff who let us choose where we sat. We sat outside on their very roomy covered patio. It didn’t look very large from the outside but the patio was very big, covered & decorated in fun bright colors and beautiful hanging pots bursting with beautiful flowers. We shared their hand squeezed margarita- it was amazing & definitely large enough to share. I had fish tacos and my husband had nachos- both were delicious and we both left with to-go boxes, the servings were generous. Im so happy we stopped here, well worth it.
