I really wanted to love this place! I saw it on TikTok and knew I had to try the brisket and hot links, plus the birria mac and cheese. Unfortunately, it was pretty underwhelming.

The hot link was just okay, and the brisket (which I was most excited about) didn’t live up to the hype. The seasoning wasn’t my favorite, and it had more fat than I prefer.

The birria mac and cheese was disappointing — it was mostly cheese with very few noodles, and the overall flavor just wasn’t good.

For appetizers, we ordered the Texas Twinkies and were excited to try them, but the inside (a brisket and cheese mixture) wasn’t hot when they came out.

My fiancé asked our server for her favorite recommendation and got the birria tacos — those were good, but overall we just weren’t impressed. Sadly, we probably won’t be back.

Make sure you sit in the Tiki Room, it’s much nicer in there. And more fun.
The service was wonderful everyone so friendly and willing to help. The food was delicious. Prices are moderate.

They’re working hard to please patrons! Bar b queing daily – though there’s room to keep the brisket on the smoker another hour or two… the tortillas are freshly made- the way they should be! The portions are worthy of sharing- and the drinks are well balanced. I’ll be back!

Two of us came in for Sunday dinner. Our drinks were good and strong. The queso was delicious with the chips. It had a good texture that we enjoyed. The Brussel sprouts were good too. I felt disappointed with the enchiladas. The server said there would be 5 and there were only 4. I wish there was more flavor to the chicken, it was bland. And the rice was hard and too crunchy to enjoy. I did tell the gentleman who brought out our food for another portion of rice and he did get us another scoop of fresh rice that was steaming hot and much fluffier. Next time I’d just get the queso and Brussels sprouts.

Had a wonderful dinner after starting with drinks next door at Rum Row. The service was excellent, and suggestions on what to eat was spot on. Extensive tequila, mezcal, and agave spirits list.

Only critique – shared fajitas should automatically come with more then three tortillas. We had to order more.

Ate here with my in-laws a few weeks ago and had an excellent experience. First impression was that the decor is stunning. Next, our server was incredibly helpful answering questions about food allergies. Our food came out promptly – all of the portions were huge – and everything was delicious. The leftovers were just as good the next day as well. We’ll definitely be back.

I’m not vegetarian but I like to have vegetarian dishes if they sound tasty, so I chose to try the King Mushroom Fajita. The presentation was awesome but it was bland and greasy. It seemed like they just sauteed the ingredients and didn’t season anything. Also, very few of the veggies had any significant sear on them that I would expect. The flour tortillas were stellar though. My meal was so bad that I went to Chipotle nextdoor and had a tastier meal for half the price. $14 vs $36… The bartender was super nice and the place was nice to sit in.

I’ll keep it quick and simple. For the amount we paid per plate, this was horrible. The 48$ steak meal I ordered medium rare was overcooked and close to chewing on leather. My Wife ordered the Brisket I believe that was 32$ and she said it was very dry and could not finish the meal. The Cornbread was solid, service was good and everything else was great. But this 1 star is 100% the fault of the food. I won’t tell you to not go here, but I will tell you that leave your expectation on the quality at the door.

(This is also the second time the quality of food has been bad, so much so I decided to review it.)

We had a wonderful experience tonight. Our server Ava did a good job and the drinks were really good. We had the fajita sandwich, queso funding and the paella. All were really good! Fajita sandwich was really a winner.

I honestly chose this restaurant for convenience. My friend is working in this area and this restaurant looked like something we’d both love. Upon entering you’re welcomed by this grandiose bar with a full wall of Tequila, and 3 gigantic wagon wheel candelabra chandeliers overhead. Impressed is an understatement. As I was being seated the hostess let me know that they’re doing Happy Hour all day, every day in February. We ordered 2 apps and 1 drink from the Happy Hour menu, as well as an app and dessert from the regular menu. The server was very attentive and all of the food came out extremely fast, regardless of what it was. The dry-rub chicken wings were not moist at all inside. The meat on the brisket tacos were pretty dry, as well. The flavor on both were very good, though. The Texas Twinkies and Churro Cake were the stars of the show. We could have eaten additional servings of both! I’d be up for trying more items from the regular menu in the future.
