We love this place. We keep coming back. The staff are awesome and not only make you feel welcome at the restaurant, but in the community. We saw the owner in town a few times and made it a point to say hello. The #30 is the bomb!

We had the yellow curry with chicken and the papaya salad with shrimp for our main course and sticky rice with mango for dessert. Everything was excellent as you can see from our photo! I loved their lemon grass tea also. Great service and reasonably priced. I’d recommend a visit. Everything is cooked fresh to order so it does take time to arrive but, it’s worth the wait!

The food was VERY tasty!!! They graciously made one of our dishes vegetarian for us. We really enjoyed our experience at Tepetate.

The food is cooked fresh and comes to your table nice and hot. The proportions are generous and the food us very flavorful. They bring two small dishes which you can add of flavoring, and one is very spicy (hot) and the other is soy sauce. A great place to eat.

Wonderful Thai food in the heart of Ajijic. I ordered Chicken and Shrimp with Cashews. My husband ordered Yellow Curry with Chicken. I drank lemongrass tea that was refreshing and soothing. Great service.

Tepetate Pian Thai, on Hidalgo Street, is one of my very favorite restaurants in Ajijic. Even though I tell myself each time I go, that I will order something new, I continue to order their Drunken Noodle with shrimp, which is awesome. I must also say that they have the *best Piña Coladas* in all of Ajijic — and I’ve tried an awful lot of them!
I especially enjoy sitting on the 2nd floor lanai, where waiter Rufino takes excellent care of his guests. I can’t say enough about how great this restaurant is …… and, oh yes, they have immaculately clean and well supplied restrooms!

Based on the reviews I would have thought this place would be pretty good. We got takeout and it wasn’t all that great.
Not only did the restaurant ignore the notes section but they also ignored the allergy information. The food itself also lacked flavor. Looked like clean good though and the portion size was good. The cost wasn’t the worst but wasn’t inexpensive, especially considering we couldn’t eat one of the dishes because they ignored allergy information.
