Loved it. Thin crust pizza was just how I like, except id prefer a tab more sauce however, I sis order garlic bread and dipped my pizza in the marinera. The garlic bread doesn’t have a lot of garlic flavor but its still good. Tiramasu…..THE BEST I’ve had and I’ve had lots being that its my top 3 fave cake.

Great date night spot! We went on a Sunday with no reservation and were able to get outdoor seating right away. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood with music playing the ambiance was still great considering inside is a bit noisy. Our server Laura was a pro and so so nice. We ordered the bruschetta and a local IPA to start, followed by the picatta and paglia with ceasar salad and ended with a tiramisu to-go for desert. Portions were big and filling, everything cooked to perfection. Great price for real italian food!

Wonderful Italian food in a quiet neighborhood setting. Tables outside if the weather permits and a super laid back vibe that made for an incredible meal. Everything we ordered from staples like carbonara and Bolognese, to the salmon on truffled cauliflower were absolutely top notch. Flavorful, fresh ingredients, hearty portions and all washed down with a wide choice of wine or cocktail. Highly recommend the Capone Manhattan! Staff were brilliant. Attentive and fun but not overbearing at all. Prices were fair. Parking was pretty easy, but is on street. Very enjoyable meal. Will definitely be back.

Tonight was our first time eating at Tenuta’s Italian Restaurant. WOW! The food was amazing! The service was great…. And the atmosphere was perfect. Everything thing we ordered was delicious! I had the lasagna…. It was one of the best I have ever eaten. The noodles were fresh. The sauce was delicious! And it was super cheesy…. Just like I like it. The pizza was incredible! We ate at outside tables on the sidewalk. Great atmosphere! We all gave Tenuta’s Italian Restaurant 5 stars! We will be back for sure! Highly recommended.

I’ve been visiting this neighborhood Italian restaurant for years. The Carpaccio is the best I’ve ever had. The bread is amazing. The pizza is yummy. The Bistecca is to die for, but on my last visit, I tried the Chicken Marsala. It’s hard to beat Sala’s on Hampshire St. but, OMG, the Marsala was the very, very, best, EVER!!! I did switch out the mashed potatoes for spaghetti noodles w garlic butter and asked for extra Marsala sauce,(a must).
Tenuta’s is a charming little place tucked within the neighborhood. They offer a large selection of wines and cocktails and a substantial menu. They have a cute little outdoor patio for dining as well. Tenuta’s is always busy, so a reservation is wise. They do have a nice size bar, but that’s usually busy as well. The staff is friendly and service is always great. I’ve gone in by myself at times and never have I felt out of place. I just love Tenuta’s. I know you will too. ♡

My daughter lives in the BayView section of Milwaukee and took us to her favorite Italian restaurant, Tenuta’s. We went on a weekday because it was less busy, if you want to go on a weekend, get your reservation well in advance. It’s fully booked from opening to closing. It’s that good!! Food, staff, ambience all great! I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

LOVED. New to MKE. This will be a favorite spot. We tried the burrata appetizer and it was good, the ranch for the salad was tremendous, the focaccia was wonderful, and then I got the chicken parm and was in love with the peppery, perfectly breaded chicken and the nice sweetness of the marinara. The pizzas looked wonderful too. And then we finished things off with the cannolis which were truly great. Gotta be one of our favorite spots in the area. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was truly great. The gal bussing was so impressive and I was just shocked by the level of service we received. Truly a great experience.

Oh.. my this is a first for me.. We are renting an Airbnb right across from this restaurant. My husband has had food here once before while working in this area. Well, while visiting, we decided to eat here our first night. Our kids wanted cheese stuffed crust.
This is the worst pizza I have ever tried in my life. My 12 year old daughter said it was really bad, and she could swallow, and she spit out. Oh my, I thought she was messing with me. I had to spit out, too..
The top was so covered in seasoning that no one could eat this. Then I messed with me, and I was able to take off the first layer of seasoning and cheese. Then, the pizza looked more normal. But then I tried still too much seasoning underneath. I don’t know if they just messed up ours, but no one could eat this, let alone a child without getting sick. Thankfully, my husband and I got something different so our kids could still eat. The face of my toddler was so funny.. I thought we got lucky to have a restaurant right in front of us to get food while we are here for a month. They really just lost a lot of money from us.
While in Muscatine milwakee, we order from Salvatore’s a couple times a week. We ordered so much that they knew us by name and sent free food to our kids. When it comes to pizza, u really shouldn’t have this issue, and no one could not, notice they messed up on this order. So that means they left it like this and didn’t care.

What a beautiful place with excellent food! We came here on a Friday night not realizing we needed a reservation, because it is not busy! You know it’s good if they unfortunately have to turn you away because they are booked solid. We weren’t upset, we just knew we needed to go back! So we did and we made a reservation for the next night. I had the gnocchi and it was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend, but definitely call ahead to make a reservation.

10/10 the pesto fettuccine is delicious and they have a great mocktail menu – specifically the bees knees. But the best part was Laura (not sure if I’m spelling it right) – incredible service and so kind. Everyone in our 5-person party wants to go back and said that Laura was so great.
