This place needs to be shut down. Service is terrible, food is terrible, a few good attitudes is all this place has going for it. I’ve never seen a medium rare burger from McDonald’s until tonight. This isn’t the first time this place has disappointed. Idk why the kids like this place!

My parents and I webt to dinner because they wanted a Shamrock shake. As we were standing there waiting to order at the register the manager proceeded to yell at my mom that she was using the register and that we needed to place our order at the kiosk ( heavy set black lady wearing gray pants and grayish color button up shirt sleeve shirt). My mom nicely asked the lady about ordering at the register and she yelled at my mom that she was using the register and that we had to do our order at the kiosk. An employee started to assist us at the kiosk with placing our order and while doing so I could the manager make the comment “don’t they see I am busy using the register”. We started to place our order and was inform that we could not get shakes because they were cleaning the machine and it would be several hours. After placing our order we waited 20 minutes for our food to come out. It was not only cold, but they did not give us straws or napkins. I had to get the napkins myself and then go to the register and ask for straws. It is sad that this location is being ran this way especially because it is the only one in Monroe. The manager clearly needs to learn better customer service and customers should not have to wait 20 minutes for their food and then have it be cold.

Realisticly, the food is terrible for you, and you could buy better food from publix or kroger. The service has a couple of nice employees. But besides that there is nothing going for them. The main problem with the service is the managerial staff. Almost everytime I visit, theyre either sitting at a table talking, yelling at employees, or even on their phones while “preparing” orders. And the time it can take to get your food is simply a gamble, it could be 2 minutes, to literally an hour. And if you purchase larger orders, nine times out of ten. Somethings either gonna be wrong, or missing. One time i was there and the cops were there, i wasnt quite sure about what, but I believe it was something over a refund or something of that matter. That is unacceptable. It is not that hard to act like you give a damn about your job. Now the atmosphere. Overall the decor and design of the restaurant is aesthetically appealing. Some downsides being food on the ground wet floor signs in the middle of the floor, and have as i have already mentioned the yelling coming from the higher ups. Also I know in a restaurant itd be hard to not have a smell of food, but the smell is so unpleasant. Overall I would not recommend going to this restaurant.

I just got done with a thirteen hour shift. I ordered a large. Why would you think giving me a small is okay? This McDonald’s has always been trash, years later nothings changed.

Another edit to add a photo of the fries that weren’t even half filled, let alone majority undercooked. Another photo of the second burger on the Big Mac that looks like it has crusted burger on it from a grill that wasn’t scraped clean. Also to say all the food was cold, the burger had basically no onions, barely any lettuce, way too much sauce.

This McDonalds always been ran poorly. They constantly slow, and they forget food. This morning I’m pulled to the side for hotcakes then wait 10 minutes to only notice items missing once I leave and start to eat the food. Also only gave one fork set for 2 order of hotcakes. That is either just not paying attention or laziness to ensure orders and correct service is provided. This happened several times, but the first time reviewing and posting on it.

Ordered 30 mins before hand. Because I know they are slow. Just to get there and have to wait an additional 20. Get my order and get home. And I’m missing both of my fries to both of the meals I ordered. And the kiddos didn’t have there milks to the happy meals. 0 sauce

Told wife to remind me not to go to that location again.

I used your app placed a mobile order, paid for it, pulled up to the curbside parking for mobile orders. I went to the app and punched in the number of the parking space I was at and the next thing the app tells me is your order’s been canceled and you will be refunded shortly. Have not seen the refund. I went inside to ask if I could just place another order and to see if they knew what was going on. I It took 5 minutes for somebody to turn around and look at the counter, I had four employees walked past me and the management look at me turn her back to me. Absolutely the rudest manager you have in your company, would not answer any of my questions told me that they had nothing to do with the app and it was probably my fault that I messed up something and then told me to go to the kiosk to order more food if I wanted something. Then turned her back to me again. She was no help to me at all and her customer service was horrible. I do not recommend this McDonald’s to anybody if you can have an option to go to a different one, I would. I feel sorry for the employees that have to work under this management. So what I’m understanding in the end of this is that if you do something with the app and it messes up it’s not McDonald’s fault but McDonald’s wants you to use this app, am I understanding this right, that you have no accountability?!?

Oh my goodness! Just stopped by this McDonald’s location for breakfast with my family. Probably the sweetest, kindest, most friendly staff I have ever encountered at any restaurant ever! I wish this was our local McDonald’s!

This McDonald’s has always had issues. The last time it was ok was back when the inside was decorated In horses (late 2000s) so for the last 15+ years this McDonalds has some sort of issue. Mostly related to poor service. And today was the straw that broke the camels back and I’m just done with eating out in Monroe at this point. They always forget something or it’s cold/poor quality. I got a meal delivered 3 ish weeks ago and my fries were forgotten. Today I got fries and they were once again forgotten. Save yourself the trouble and just go somewhere outside of Monroe for fast food.

⭐️⭐️ 2.5/5 — Mid at Best McDonald’s Experience

This McDonald’s is… fine. Not terrible, not great — just sitting right there in the middle lane, coasting.

The food is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve ever eaten McDonald’s before — fries that could be hot and crispy but usually arrive lukewarm, a burger that looks more tired than the person working the drive-thru, and maybe a McFlurry machine that’s either broken or “getting cleaned.”

Service? Depends on the day. Sometimes they’re friendly, sometimes they hand you your bag like it owes them money. The line moves, but not fast enough to be called “fast food.” You’ll probably sit there wondering if your order got lost in the system before it finally appears.

Cleanliness is hit or miss. The lobby can look decent in the morning, but by dinner rush it’s a ketchup packet graveyard.

Overall, it’s the kind of McDonald’s you end up at because it’s convenient, not because it’s good. You’ll eat, you’ll shrug, and you’ll probably say, “Yeah, that was alright, I guess.”

Final Verdict:
If you’re hungry and nearby, it’ll do. But if there’s another McDonald’s down the road — maybe give that one a shot instead.
