We decided to come here out of the blue and was surprised at how yummy everything was! We got the chorizo burrito and chicken enchiladas, real authentic Mexican food! Great portions and well priced. We also tried the tres leches and chocolate flan cake – wow sooo good! Not overly sweet, the perfect balance .

I celebrated my birthday at Tenoch Grill and Bar, and it was such an amazing experience! I really loved the vibe it honestly made me feel like I was in Mexico. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and welcoming, which made the celebration even more special.

The service was excellent. Since it was my first time trying Mexican food, I asked the staff for their best seller and what they would recommend for a first-timer, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and their fajitas were especially really good. Even my friends loved their meals.

We were also surprised by the portion sizes we were expecting smaller portions, but the food was actually very generous, which made the experience even better.

Overall, great service, great food, and an amazing vibe. I 100% recommend Tenoch Grill and Bar and will definitely be coming back!

We were finally able to visit this amazing restaurant.
It’s as if we stepped out of our vehicles and into Mexico.
From the vibrant, colorful decor, to the warm, welcoming and friendly staff, you will feel as if you were on a resort.
We loved their unique themed rooms.
Their menu was extensive and varied to any appetite for Mexican cuisine.
Their cocktails were absolutely delicious and all of their offerings on their menu are made with fresh ingredients, locally sourced where possible and repaired to perfection.
It’s definitely a must visit.

Love this place! Stopped by randomly one Sat evening and really enjoyed our first experience. Great vibe, service and food. Definitely authentic! Margaritas were tasty too. Our server brought over some sombreros for some fun photo ops. Will be back!

Tenoch Grill and Bar is easily one of the most vibrant spots I’ve been to lately. The decorations are so colorful and exciting—you can really tell they put a lot of heart into the place.
The food was spot on. The choriqueso was delicious, especially when you mix in the red and green sauces they give you. I also had the carnitas chimichanga and asked for green sauce on top; they were happy to customize it and it came out perfect.
Huge shoutout to our server, Jordan. He was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we never had to wait long for anything. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place a negative rating I most certainly would! Service was extremely slow. We were given half the number of menus needed for the people at our table and waited close to half an hour for our orders to be taken. When the food came it was cold (not even lukewarm). I ordered pork carnitas enchiladas. The pork was dried and hard, the rice was cold and hard, the “sauce” was cold and watery. The salad had a bland (bottled?) Italian dressing taste. Nachos were also ordered. They also came cold with a watery tomato “sauce” that looked like it came out of a can. The servers never came around to refill our water or ask how the food was or anything. A friend ordered the special (quesadilla with fries). The fries looked like the McCain frozen fries and there were less than 7 on the plate. Someone came around more than once while we were eating to collect $10/person for the event (salsa dancing) that was starting at 9:30 (we had been there for maybe an hour at this point). We were still eating dinner and said that. Most places I’ve been to don’t make you pay for the event if you are there for dinner. I asked for a refill on my water around this same time and I was told that after 9pm I can only purchase bottled water.
The “event” was a little “lesson” before salsa dancing. The “instructor” mumbled through a quick lesson, barely repeating anything and unless you were right beside her, you couldn’t even see what she was doing. We had to go to the bar to order drinks afterwards and they ran out of things to make a mojito at the start of the night. ‍♀️ The only positive was that it was a cute place with fun holiday decorations and the music was decent.
I should also mention that my husband had a pretty serious allergic reaction from some cross-contamination, even though we ordered nothing that he was allergic too. ‍♀️
Needless to say, I will NOT be returning.

Take the chance. I live in Innisfil and have driven by this place since they opened. I just wouldn’t let myself believe a local Mexican restaurant in town would be worth it. The chips and salsa were delightful. Not the heavy tortilla chips you get at the store, but thin and crisp. I’m a Negra Modelo guy, but the house margarita on the rocks was a perfect combo with the tinga chicken enchiladas verdes I ordered. My wife chose the camaron en chipotle. The shrimp was fantastic and both our portions were sizable. The atmosphere is unique and fun, with the previous use of the space as a daycare center leaving them with many private areas for parties and groups. The staff were attentive and very pleasant to chat with. I spent 30 plus years working and living in California and Texas, and this is as tasty and authentic as anything we’ve had along or south of the border in that time. Definitely going to be regulars here going forward.

Finally managed to try this amazing restaurant out after living here for a couple months, and I was definitely not disappointed!!!!

AMAZING food, my friend and I shared ceviche to start off along with a piña colada and a margarita (both incredible), the ceviche was exactly what I’d been hoping for – absolutely delicious.

For our mains we split enchiladas (which come with refried beans and rice and salad) and tostadas. Both were also excellent and we had an amazing experience.

The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, and our servers were very friendly and shared that they also have dance lessons on the first Friday of every month! My boyfriend and I plan to join in this week! It sounds so fun, the food is amazing, the drinks are fabulous, the atmosphere is incredible, and the service is lovely.

11/10 recommend!!!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this Gem in the Innisfil Beach area after spending the day at Friday Harbour.

Authentic Mexican Food. The menu options were plentiful and instead of the ‘regular’ 3 taco option, they offered a 5 taco option!

It was absolutely fantastic and tasty; great presentation; wonderful atmosphere; and awesome attentive service; and, we were full after our dinner.

Highly recommended.

I finally went to the restaurant, and I am upset about how long it took me to go there. From walking in the door to walking out the door, it was absolutely fabulous. I loved the food, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I love Mexican food and this was really authentic. Well done and continued success. I will be back for sure.
