We went here for dinner on Valentine’s day. We had reservations at 7pm. When we arrived there was no hostess, had to wait a while to be seated. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. We waited two hours for our food. They were out of the ribeye so we ate sirloins. The food was great when it arrived. The salad bar was good. The margarita I had was terrible. They were out of guiness. We did get an appetizer, dessert and a drink on the house so that was nice. Hopefully they can work out the kinks. Only issues were waiting on the food and we werent the only ones waiting for hours. Maybe we will come back in 6 months to a year and see if its gotten better.

If there was a negative star option I would give this place a negative star! Hair and crumbs in the seat were noticed before we even sat down. The lace was vacant and was evident why. Didn’t even order due to the price of everything. This place will not last long.

Mash potatoes were great! My wife completely enjoyed the boiled shrimp! With that said, I ordered the 12 oz Ribeye…I am a heavy critic when it comes to my steak, to say it was awesome is an understatement, that is the best steak I’ve had in 30 years…. melt in your mouth! Medium Rare goodness! Tennille’s, you knocked it out of the park! It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we completely enjoyed everything! We will definitely be back!

Tonight we decided to try Tennille’s Steak &Seafood in Russellville. This restaurant went into the old Cagles Mill and it has been remolded and expanded.
We love steak and have our favorite steak restaurants so we wanted to give this a try since it’s close to home. To be honest we don’t eat steaks in this town because there are none we like.
Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted and sat by a wonderful hostess. She sat us in the bar area with a wonderful server named Amber who provided excellent service. I will mention if you want more of a quiet date night I would ask to be sat in a different area. We will next time.
We normally order ribeye and filet so that’s what we ordered tonight. Instead of a filet they brought us out a sirloin by accident. They quickly caught the error and started preparing the filet. Even though this was a mistake it gave us the opportunity to try their sirloin. It was the best sirloin we’ve ever had! We decided we would order it when we come back because it’s that good.
We noticed there were no steak knives on the table only butter knives. The steaks were an excellent cut, quality and perfectly cooked. No steak knives were needed, the butter knife cut right through them. We loved that they were charbroiled and had a nice smoky flavor. They have a wonderful salad bar, many sides, premium sides, delicious rolls that are very soft and served with honey butter. They also have a great selection of desserts.
From the hostess at the front door, our sever Amber, other employees and the manager you couldn’t have asked for better service.
If you love steaks, we would highly recommend giving them a try. In our opinion, it’s the best steaks in Russellville. They have a nice menu with a great selection of steaks, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish, seafood and so much more. Support local and check them out! We will be regulars and we’re so excited they are here.

I saw the reviews and thought we would give the place a try. It was like paying fine dining prices for Denny’s service and food. It wasn’t very good. The server was mostly polite, and apologized for the food and I think she tried to make it right the best she could. The staff were mostly shouting back and forth to each other between the kitchen and the bar area. Loud music. The place was mostly empty. Steak was actually decent with a good flavor. bread was stale and had a bad taste. Butter was microwaved and the center was still more of a solid state. Side item was wrong (order baked potato with butter only). Got loaded potato with a bunch of stuff I didn’t want. Took it back and told me they would have another baked potato out in 3 minutes. I was surprised to see a baked potato come out just a few minutes later. It was still on the more solid side and kind of lukewarm. When I asked if it had been microwaved, I was told it was just pulled from the oven. We pointed out that it was not hot and she asked if I wanted her to microwave it for me. I told her no and said, “This is $38?” She apologized and left. She then came back and said her boss had told her to offer another side. By the time she came back, I was ready to go. We were quite disappointed. We tried it. Lesson learned. We won’t be back.

My son and I had lunch there and we enjoyed it very much. The steaks (8oz sirloin) were seasoned and cooked expertly. The salad bar was good too, not as good as the steaks but decent. The atmosphere was nice and modern, the service was great. Next time I believe I will try the lobster tail, which I saw some other customers being served and it looks so good!

A bit disappointed. Tennille’s was advertised as an “upscale restaurant” for seafood. My wife and I ordered the same entree of “jumbo” fried shrimp. I received 8 on my plate and she received 6 on her plate. The shrimp were definitely not jumbo in size and very chewy and “rubbery”. The hot rolls were great! We both ordered ice tea and it was served in bar size high-ball glasses. In Arkansas, customers will expect full size glasses for their ice tea. Food service time at lunch was 25 minutes with 8 people in our side of the restaurant. We spoke to the owner and he was very receptive to our comments. For the money, there are better deals for lunch in the area.

Really wanted to love this place. Nobody in town has lobster, so I got the lobster. It was the most horrible lobster I have ever in my life had. It was extremely tough, no flavor except for an iodine after taste and instead of nice warm savory butter it came on a plate with lemon butter sauce crap. It ruined the taste. Got a tequila sunrise and it was made with grapefruit juice. FYI-tequila sunrise is orange juice, tequila and grenadine and a cherry. The stuffed mushrooms tasted gross, greasy and looked like some Walmart style cheese was thrown on top. My husband had a ribeye and it was tough and had no flavor. It took 15 minutes to get his draft beer brought to him it sat at the bar for 15 minutes and was warm when we got it. He did love the fries and the ranch dressing was very good and they had a nice salad bar. Definitely not worth the $100. I even asked the waitress to bring me plain warm melted butter and she brought me the same lemon butter. I wanted to love it, but disappointing!! So back to Kaspers and Pasta Grill we go. Never had a bad meal there. I don’t mind paying $100 for a good/great meal. We left and went to Taco Bell!!!

Did I eat at the same restaurant as these other folks? Unattended host stand. Room temperature food. Overcooked steak. Soup the consistency of gravy. Mistakes in the order. Super sweet people who will hopefully get the right support to work out the kinks. Delicious pie. Harsh lighting with an intensity likely to derange diners.

Tennille’s Steak & Seafood did not disappoint! I had the shrimp and grits and they were absolutely amazing—so flavorful and perfectly cooked. My husband had the steak and said it was great as well. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere made it even better. We can’t wait to go back and eat there again!
