The place is pretty packed when I went, calling for reservation is recommended. Cozy with dimmed lights, suitable for romantic dinner. The food are all amazing, mostly raw sushi. Highly recommend the Chutoro that would just melt in your mouth ❤️ The Otoro Don was served with some crunchy texture so it’s not all mushy. The Truffle Tuna is a must try, the cilantro cream blends really well with the fresh tuna flavor. All of the food tastes fresh! The dessert are exceptional, the key lime tart and dark chocolate dome are my best bet to end the night.

Tenku sushi in downtown Woodstock is my favorite sushi restaurant. The fish is always fresh and the service is excellent. I had the Platinum combination with Henry last Thursday and it was wonderful! He is so creative and seems to somehow remember the things I like the best! My wife enjoyed the amazing cocktails and a few rolls while my friend Trevor enjoyed Smoked Salmon and seared salmon belly with the calamari and bluefin tuna nigiri. This was yet another amazing experience at Tenku sushi and I can’t wait to try the new location in East Cobb once it opens!

My recent visit to Tenku was amazing from start to finish. The sushi was exceptionally fresh and expertly prepared — every bite melted in my mouth. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into each roll and sashimi plate. The cocktails paired perfectly with the food, and the presentation was spot-on. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, and the vibe of the restaurant felt both modern and relaxed. Tenku is hands down one of the best sushi dining experiences around — definitely worth the visit!

I had a great time when i went in to Tenku last week. I sat at the bar. Great ambience and very attentive staff. I had the Bang Bang lobster, Waygu and otoro nigiri. Very fresh! Come to find out the produce is flown in from Japan which adds to the authenticity. I asked to be surprised with a spicy roll and was given the Picasso roll and it was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to go again

I guess every experience in this place is different… if you catch the servers on an off night expect more attitude than service. Wasted 15 minutes at the bar without even getting a drink for the bartender to basically tell us we should get a table. If you don’t want our money, that’s fine. We’ll spend it somewhere else.

It is hard for us to pick a favorite as each plate tasted fresh, buttery, and melt in your mouth delicious.
Service was just as exceptional as the food. Richie and Marlena at the bar were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming.
Highly recommend for date night, special occasions, or just treating yourself to some of the freshest sushi you’ll find in the area.

We love Tenku Sushi in Woodstock. We have had countless, fabulous meals and pop-ins over the last few years, each one fresh, new and exciting. I was a little bit concerned when I found out that Santo might be moving to the exciting new Tenku Sushi Elevation in the Avenue East Cobb. However, last night I had an Amazing culinary experience with Henry who effortlessly delivered an incredible variety of perfectly timed, mouthwatering nigiri through my Platinum Sushi order! Frank made my wife the best Maki Roll she has ever had! While I am sad to see Santo go, I can rest assured that the high bar of quality and artistry Santo created will continue here in Woodstock!

1st time visit. I asked my husband to find us a good sushi place and he did not disappoint. We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening around 6pm. We sat at the bar. Julian was our tender and he was a pleasure. The espresso martini is delicious and expensive. We ordered the Rainbow Roll, Ten on my Mind and another one I forgot the name of. Out of the three rolls the Ten on my Mind was my favorite. I am looking forward to coming here again just to order the Ten on my Mind. It’s not actually a roll, it is tuna and other stuff on top of fried rice squares. Definitely recommend…so I did to the people that were sitting next to us.

The sushi was super fresh and so good! We had the Volcano, Fire Cracker, and Bang Bang Shrimp — everything was amazing. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff was really nice and friendly. Definitely one of my favorite sushi spots now!

Everything was so good. The place is packed but still very cozy. The chuttoro ikura don is a must get, the appetizers like the tuna are also good. Appetizers and rolls are also great and reasonably priced.
