We had a nice dining experience. The sushi was excellent, and definitely the highlight of the meal, and the noodles were delicious as well. Unfortunately, the desserts were not our favorite. Still, we would happily come back for the sushi and main dishes.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. The takeout order ended up taking two hours, which we could manage if we were told. The most frustrating part was the lack of honesty about the wait time. I understand not wanting to lose an order, but misleading customers isn’t the way to handle it.
We spent nearly $200, which they conveniently had payment upfront. When my husband showed up at the time they said to the wait lasted an additional hour. Had he been given the true pickup estimate, he could have come home first.
Instead, he got off a 48 hour shift as an exhausted first responder, trying to get home to see our four year old before she went to bed on her birthday. He stood there with everyone else in the same boat after being given the runaround.
The food service industry is forever stretched thin and I completely sympathize when honesty is actually given. Because of this experience, we won’t be returning. Transparency goes a long way, and unfortunately, that was what was missing here.

Stopped in with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Most locals already know about Tengda’s exceptional reputation for great food so today I’d like to praise their service. They have the best staff! Attentive without hovering. The food was brought out promptly (I had to actually wait a minute for it to cool down which I prefer). They went above and beyond and actually inquired about my friends name so that when they brought out the dessert with a birthday candle, they could incorporate it into the birthday song. It says little details that make them stand out from the rest.

There’s always a first time. First restaurant who served shrimp tempura app without any veg. Three individual pieces of shrimp tempura. The host said you have to ask for them. What ever!
Overall the fish is fresh and the special rolls were delicious. But for a full 5 stars, everything needs to be on point and flawless, even in menu creation.

After many years of patronage I had Horrible service today, I separately ordered 3 rolls for two people and a hot & sour soup. They took 45 min after they told me 15 min. They put all the rolls in one container as if I purchased a combo….they sure as heck charged me for each roll individually. The soup was COLD….NOT warm or hot. They should also inform or ask if you want utensils….because none in the bag. Definitely my last trip here.

I have eaten here for years. Did you lose your cook? The dishes at our table were dry, unseasoned, and gloppy. Not what we normally are served here. The mango had the skin left on and was too hard to chew. Not one dish looked or tasted like it normally does. The highlight, the waitstaff was great as usual. Hopefully the cook will come back! Not giving up yet.

The food is incredibly delicious, as always. But, recently dined in and got a terrible headache from the air fresheners. I will not, unfortunately, be able to dine there again, unless management removes them. It’s disappointing because I used to eat there once a week. I hope they see this review and consider it.

Sushi plus more at this local Katonah spot. Sashimi was perfectly fresh and beautiful. Menu has Thai choices as well. Comfortable setting, attentive and friendly service.
