My husband and I made a reservation and he made the comment it was date night. We arrived and the place is exceptional. We shared a beet salad and that just started the whole meal off. The margaritas were very tasty. My husband ordered tacos which he left nothing on the plate and I had the salmon laid on a bed of beet hummus. I do not care for regular hummus but I would put the beet hummus on everything. It came with roasted vegetables which were also very delicious and some delicate greens. We don’t normally have dessert but decided to share their chocolate cake. The portion could feed a small family and the decoration of fresh fruit, crushed pistachios and coffee flavoured lively shaped meringues was amazing. To top it off the brought us a champagne flute of a lively sort of wine on the house. Alma was our waitress. What a lively young lady. She was very attentive but not too much which was welcome and offered good recommendations. We will definitely go back while here more than once. The whole experience was well worth it. Can’t say enough good things.

A beautiful restaurant that truly captures the spirit of San Miguel. The service was exceptional—every interaction with the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. It was supposed to be a quick beer and we ended up ordering the tuna roll, which was delicious. Overall, a 10/10 experience with excellent service.

We sat at the bar area on the ground floor of the hotel, and I loved the shrimp so much I came back twice on back to back days to have it. I’m not even a shrimp person but they were so delicious! If I weren’t leaving tomorrow, I’d come back again for the third time.

Ate breakfast here during our stay at the 1810 hotel. Although the menu is good and the food portions are very good their consistency was not. The first day the bread we got was a bit dry although the remaining of the food was delicious. On the second day the bread was good but unfortunately the main dish (I got the enmoladas) was cold and the tortilla was stale and so hard to eat. It’s as if they don’t use fresh tortillas or bread.
Besides this the service was excellent, the location inside the patio of the hotel is beautiful.

Wonderful food in a beautiful space. Unfortunately, the music is so loud that you can’t carry on a conversation with the person sitting right beside you, much less with anyone else at the table. When I’m enjoying a meal with friends, I’m more interested in conversation than I am in the background music.

Stopped here after a very long travel day and were very impressed! The atmosphere is chic and a bit romantic. Sheila was our server, and she was FANTASTIC!! Very helpful, friendly, and patient with our lack of Spanish. The dirty Martini was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the pizza was equally delicious. Don’t skip out on this gem when you’re in San Miguel de Allende.

Stopped in for an aperol spritz, beautiful restaurant with a very friendly staff. Did not have a chance to eat but they mentioned I should come back for sushi and pizza on the rooftop.
