Welcome to our kitchen! Two chefs and a foodie set out to change the way people eat for the better. Our inspiration? The meals we had when our friends came over. The food. The pairings. The exploration. The energy. And the promise that on any given day we’d eat or drink something we wouldn’t find anywhere else. So we opened Tender Greens in 2006 and started a food revolution. We start with the best ingredients, cook from the heart and let our food do the talking. No compromises, no matter what. Sustainability is at the core of all the choices we make, from our food to our planet to the future of farming. It’s in our DNA. After all, we’re chefs.

Update their customer service staff is really great and made this horrible experience much better for me after I let them know of my experience. I will go back and try again.
Such a great choice.
I had the Italian chop salad, which was refreshing. I could smell the Italian flavours as soon as the waitress put my plate in front of me.
My taste buds were quite pleasantly surprised as well…literal flavour explosion when I took my first bite. Quite enjoyable. Everyone else enjoyed their selections too. Great choice.
Inside of the restaurant was a little bit messy. There was still stuff on tables that staff members had yet to clean. There were plenty of staff members around, I just think they were worried about other things.
I was ordering takeout. When I got to the counter, I was told that they were out of multiple items. That in itself was frustrating. I was told that if I was going to order anything with chicken that I could not order all white meat. That too irritated me for the simple fact I wanted chicken, and I only want white meat. I am definitely not a fan of dark meat. I even said to the staff member why was that. She told me it’s because they had ran out of a lot of different items and certain chicken plates could not have all white meat. That didn’t make sense to me at all. I said; well the buttermilk chicken can that have all white meat? She said yes, that one can. Huh? Made no sense. Anyways, I got the buttermilk chicken with mashed potatoes and Romain lettuce for the salad. I also ordered the steak bowl.
When I got home to eat my food, I was absolutely furious. My buttermilk chicken that I was told that I could have all white meat was actually all dark meat. Mind you I will not eat dark meat at all. So that was totally a waste of my money. I couldn’t call the restaurant because they had already closed. My food was cold. I had no white meat and the bread had no crunch whatsoever. My daughters food, however, was fine. Needless to say, I think this will be my last time at this location. Between the last time I was here and this time of times, I was disappointed.
They should’ve got a one star from me; however, because the service was good, and my daughters food was fine I gave them a three star. I’m not sure if I necessarily would recommend this particular location, but would other locations.
The restaurant is laid out like all the others, and the staff was friendly, but the food was subpar. My husband ordered the salt and pepper chicken, which was nearly cold, and his mashed potatoes were a weird texture. My salmon was great, as well as the spinach, but the bread was terrible. The crust would break a tooth, and the interior was like rubber.
The worst part is the place was dirty and the men’s room was disgusting. I’m not talking about a dirty person had used the bathroom, I mean, it felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Another man was in there when I was, and we both only used our feet to touch anything and didn’t wash our hands because we weren’t willing to touch any part of the sink. I only told my husband it was dirty and when he came out he said he did the same things. The Olive Oil Cakes weren’t terrible but overcooked and harder than normal.
Tender Greens, we still love you, but send a team over to Hollywood to straighten things out.
