We ordered Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipop, and Veg Cutlet as starters all of them were delicious. My kid especially loved the Chicken 65!
For the main course, we had Veg Biryani, which came with raita. The biryani was flavorful, though the raita quantity could have been a bit more. We also ordered Parotta, which was fresh, soft, and tasted amazing.
The only small downside was that the waiting time was a bit long, but apart from that, everything else was great. Literally every dish we ordered was flavourful and tasted amazing. We’d definitely visit again!
This was my first time coming, and we were immediately made to feel extremely welcome.
The staff were thoughtful about where best to position us in the restaurant. Very prompt at taking the orders as well, and provided us with some excellent recommendations from the menu and helped to capture exactly what we wanted.
The food came out and was also phenomenal. I believe they also cook in coconut oil which is a huge plus for me.
Will definitely be back.
As other reviews have pointed out, the food can take a little while to come out, and it also didn’t all come out at the same time with a short wait between things.
I enjoyed the masala dosa, the sambal was really yummy but the dosa was quite cold, especially after having to wait for others to get their food. We also ordered butter paneer and the prawn mango curry. The food was fairly nice, but I’m not sure we would be returning for anything other than dosa. We all really enjoyed the mango lassi.
The dessert was not good and I would not recommend ordering anything. The gulab jamun was nice, but not for £5. I would also much prefer if it were served in a bowl and not a glass. The sticky toffee pudding portion was also quite small, and just tasted like a plain sponge with a little sauce. The ice cream served with both desserts had a very weird icy texture, like it had been freezer burnt or refrozen.
I would also recommend wearing clothes that can be easily washed. I haven’t factored this into my review at all, but there doesn’t seem to be enough ventilation and we all left smelling heavily of food which is quite unpleasant.
