Our “go to” is, General Tao’s Spicy! The Crabmeat Rangoon’s and Egg Rolls are so good! Best Chinese food! Large portions!

AMAZING. This is the type of place you think of when you are craving Chinese food. Got some for lunch since I work nearby and I did not disappoint. Did the lunch special, so $10.50 I got a box of chicken, fried rice, and an egg roll. Container was literally bursting at the seams. Tasted spectacular, will be back!

On 12/10/2025, I have been patronizing this restaurant for a while, and I was very disappointed with what I received. I ordered almond boneless chicken and I happen to open it up while driving and I noticed the chicken was soggy. You could taste the flour where it had just been dropped in grease, and not cooked throughly. I decided to take it back to the restaurant. The older woman at the front desk, said she would take care of me. I was told to request for crispy chicken. I told her, I’ve never requested my chicken to be crispy. I assume that my chicken was a remake, but instead they drop the same chicken in grease which dried out the chicken, and the crust fell off, my rice, and egg roll were cold. My food was not a remake, but a fix. Never Again. I spent $16.91 for some
B.S. End Result!!!!!! This restaurant is not aware of food safety. I can’t imagine what his looks like in the area where they cook.

Me and my family have been eating here for years and I loved there food until I brought a order of coconut chicken and when I got to the end of my food it was so much hair it was in my mouth and on my fork and in the food.. this was the most disgusting thing I ever experienced ..I called them to inform them..not even expecting anything in return because I will never eat here again and I was given the worst attitude and they just kept telling me it didn’t happen. Not saying don’t eat here but I am in disbelief and I feel like they should have more respect for there customers.

I can’t understand the recent bad reviews. Ten yen is always on point. Order on Christmas, they were extremely busy but their quoted time was exactly right. Our food was hot, crispy, and delicious. We’ve never been disappointed in a meal at Ten Yen. Excellent in every way, it’s our go to Chinese.

Ok, so first time here. I tried this place solely based on its reviews here. My honest opinion? The egg rolls seem to get a lot of praise here. I thought they were average. They were good, just nothing to write about(pun intended). I ordered two dinners. Kung Pao chicken and General’s Chicken. Quite honestly they were both awesome. My genuine first thought after my first bite of the General’s was wow, now THATS what General Tso’s chicken is supposed to taste like. Very pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back.

Still the best around. Old school Chinese food. The Gold Standard.

First time trying is New Years Eve. Place was jamming! Crazy atmosphere, and it took longer than expected (probably because it’s NYE). Pricey but good!

Tried the Almond boneless chicken with brown sauce, fried dumplings, and Yong Chow. Wife had the cashew chicken and said it was the best she’s ever had. All my food was delicious! The chicken was high quality, and the dumplings were cooked perfectly, not soggy or soft.

Definitely coming back during normal business days. This will be my new “go to” Chinese.

Have been coming here over 40 years and they used to have the best egg rolls. Haven’t been in a while since we moved out of Westland and got a hankering for them today. They are now the worst egg rolls I have ever tasted in my life. Don’t know if they got new owners again or what since I wasn’t the one picking up my order. Hoping they see this and bring back the old egg roll recipe

Moved into the neighborhood in 2000. Been ordering at least once a month since. This was the first time it wasn’t absolutely awesome. 26 yrs was like watching someone pitch a no hitter. Ive been a professional cook and haven’t been able to do that. I’m sure they’ll tighten right back up again.
