– one of our fav place-

It’s kind of funny that I’ve never written a review for this place, even though we’ve been here countless times. It’s always busy around mealtimes, but luckily there are plenty of seats, and we rarely have to wait. We also order takeout from here pretty often.

For our most recent order, we got two personal combos (main + appetizer + drink) through a Chinese app, which frequently has discounts. I’m a big fan of their takeout containers—they keep the noodles and soup nicely separated.

The takeout bag is super sturdy, and the popcorn chicken has just the right amount of spice to really hit the spot. That said, I’d still recommend dining in, because the food is easily about three times better. I also think the portion of popcorn chicken is more generous when you dine in. Plus, if you finish the soup, you’ll be very full.

My go-to order is the fatty beef tomato soup with rice (I know, I know—it’s a noodle place, but I like it better with rice). My husband always gets the original Yunnan rice noodle. We’ve tried the golden soup version, but it’s just not as good. The prices are reasonable… well, reasonable for Bellevue .

Ordered the original Crossing-the-Bridge rice noodles. Tried several broths (green peppercorn, original, tomato) and they all taste somewhat pre-made, with a noticeable MSG-heavy and salty profile. Fine for eating the noodles, but not a broth you’d want to drink.

The rice noodles are thinner with average chew. Toppings usually include around ten items, and the meat portion is fairly generous.

Personal ranking:
Golden beef = Green peppercorn ≥ Original > Tomato beef brisket > Kimchi beef

Overall, the flavor isn’t outstanding for crossing-the-bridge noodles, but it’s consistent, reasonably priced, and predictable. Favorite sides are the plum sweet potato fries; fried milk is decent too.

The taste is delicious, and it’s a great experience. You can add whatever you want to your meal. The soup base is very rich and I love it. I also like the egg waffles, which are very crispy and have a strong milky flavor. The fruit tea is also very refreshing and delicious with rice noodles. I recommend trying their spicy rice noodles, which are very delicious! I will go back again. There is a lunch combo at noon, which is very cost-effective!

The hot and sour noodle soup was a good portion. The soup tasted a bit artificial at first, but you get used to it and it was OK. It comes with three slices of beef and a chicken wing (the wing is kind of strange). The noodle was smooth, I enjoyed it.
The beef tripe appetizer was a good portion too. It’s not much flavors. I put them in the soup and it tasted great.

Appetizers weren’t too good, in my opinion. We got the popcorn chicken and seaweed salad. I don’t think anyone at the table liked it. The spicy beef brisket soup was good, I didn’t expect the brisket to be like… braised beef you’d find in a stew. We also got spicy pork chop soup and the original pork bone soup, which were also just okay.

Decent food. Dishes were hit and miss for us. Got the cordyceps flower chicken and while the flavor was good, mushroom was chewy and the chicken a little dry from overcooking. Beef dry rice noodle was cold ( unexpected) and golden hot and sour rice noodle was decent. Popcorn chicken was not crisp. The cheese bubble waffle was the best part. Presentation was good. Definitely not a place for vegetarians.

Fantastic popcorn chicken. My fave in the whole area!! It’s a little spicy though so be careful.

Noodles were good and plentiful. Can’t wait to go here again!

Ten Seconds | Bellevue

At Ten Seconds in Bellevue, you’re in for a treat! From the mouthwatering popcorn chicken to the refreshing cucumber salad, every bite is bursting with flavor. Trust me, that cucumber salad is something special—it’s got this kick that just wakes up your taste buds. And the popcorn chicken? Not too greasy, perfectly seasoned—just how you like it. Even when it’s bustling around lunchtime, the service stays on point. Can’t wait to swing by again and dig into their noodle dishes. Ten Seconds is definitely becoming my go-to spot in Bellevue for a satisfying meal if you’re in the mood for chicken and noodles.

The rice noodle was ok. I had better. The broth was a bit watery and could use more flavor. The brisket was not like slices of pho brisket but more like chinese braised brisket where it is very gelatinous/ tendon/ gristle and not “meaty”. The toppings that came with it were ok.

The only reason this place isn’t 2 stars cause their other appetizer dishes were better. The popcorn chicken as in most places use a dark meat. It was nice and crunchy, coated with a numbing spice. The egg waffle had more crunch than happy lemon. If you like more chewy on the inside then this place is not for you.

Water refills were hard to come by so service was not attentive. The timing of food was slow. It took 20- 25 minutes to get the popcorn chicken. I did see a batch of popcorn chicken come out at once. I suspect that fried multiple orders at once. You can order additional food by scanning the qr code on your table.

The milk tea was pretty good for a restaurant. The milk tea is $4 which is decent ( one size ).

Parking
There is a parking lot shared with many restaurants nearby. Depending on the time and day parking could be hard to come by. I usually walk from Crossroads mall over to grab food in this area.

They have two gender neutral bathrooms that were clean.

I would come back for the appetizers and desserts.

Not great for large groups since their tables mostly fit 4 people and the space of this place can’t really 12 people next to each other easily.

After 6 month meal prep for bodybuilding, having soup rice noodles like this is a blessing!!! Warm broth, variety of sides, snacks and appetizers, really comfort my poor stomach and saved my appetite. I love starches, fried pumpkin rice cake is always my favorite. We also ordered one original rice noodles, one beef brisket noodles, spicy and sour cucumber, and chicken gizzards. Two people share those yummy dishes are perfect, especially for a hungry person like me. Even though I didn’t eat a lot of noodles, but the way they put rice noodles is the way I prefer. Rice noodles were warm and set in a separate bowl. Just be extra caution ⚠️ the broth is hot, the bowl of soup is extremely hot as well. Don’t get burned.
