Not sure why this place is highly reviewed. We just went through and are very disappointed. One coffee came out hot, the other was already cold. My smoked salmon bagel was ice cold, definitely not toasted and it’s not smoked salmon. Couldn’t even eat it. The other breakfast bagel was hot and okay. The staff was not friendly or welcoming and had to take our order twice.
Over all very disappointed and not worth $40.

Sandwiches are overpriced for what they are. The place is constantly busy to where there isn’t enough staff and too much is going to where they will most likely mess up your order. Go to Sunrise Bagels or get bagels and cream cheese from the store. It’s less expensive, time consuming, and it tastes better. I have gone four times within the last year while intentionally spreading out time in between to make sure this experience was not an isolated event. With those times only once was my order successfully completed as I asked. The other times they were messed up one way or another. The staff needs help with their morale. Anyone going to order can feel the tension and their stress and that they are drained. I felt it each time and I wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. This place has potential, but site management and leadership needs to step up and revitalize the place starting with their team. Take better care of your employees and figure out their needs and how to build on their strengths and weaknesses.

I come here quite a bit, but this morning I was thrown off. I ordered a fountain drink and a bowl of soup through the drive through, totaling $15. When I got to work, it appeared to be a cup of soup (extremely small). I called and requested to have my card refunded the difference. The only solution to this issue was for me to drive all the way back to the restaurant for the workers to inspect the size of the cup that was given to me. If it was in fact a cup, then they’d give me a free bowl of soup. I was completely shocked there was not an alternative option provided. I work in the restaurant business and was hoping there would be an alternative where I wouldn’t have to waste about an hour of my day. Disappointed in the customer service as I could hear the workers screaming to each other while the individual mistakenly did not put me on hold. These things happen, but I would have appreciated additional consideration in making this scenario a better experience for the customer.

First time to Fairbanks. Weren’t many places to eat from what I could see. This place got good ratings so I took a shot. Glad I did. Food was very good, fresh cut veggies. I had the protein bowl. Service was good. Would go again.

I really enjoy this place. They have really good food and the bagels are awesome. However, at least three out of four times that I visit my order is incorrect. The staff is friendly until you have an issue with what they made for you. Last time my order was messed up for at least the 20th time I decided that was enough and I needed to call and let them know about it. The individual I spoke to was extremely rude and very short with me. Then when I showed up at the store to receive The sandwich that was to correct and order they messed up. They were extremely short with me and not friendly at all I’m trying to write this as respectful as possible so that this can just be fixed. I love the bagels, but I can’t stand Having my order messed up 75% of the time and Usually only after tipping.

Great place to stop for good coffee, great bagels, wraps and breakfasts. We had the breakfast bagels and they were fresh, flavourful and quick. Coffee and hot chocolate were both good too. Friendly staff, small eating area available. Also has a drive through and to go orders.

07-22-24 First visit: Protein bowl was ok, but very heavy on bell peppers. Green, yellow, and red over took all other flavors. Breakfast bagel was good. Coffee was very weak, with very little flavor. Very little emotion from servers. Seemed angry about something. Neither smiled the whole time we were there.

Pizza bagels were absolutely delicious in – 15 degree weather. Hot and savory. The wild smoked salmon (lox) bagel had a good ratio of everything. Very large bagel selection including a bacon cheddar that I’ve never had before.

I started going to this business a lot with my wife but the customer service is terrible to begin with. The second to last time we went there was no one up front so we were standing there waiting till someone came around the corner and finally noticed us; every worker ive seen there seems to be around my age (their 20s) and act very condescending and like they have better things to do then their job – one time i went back in to throw my stuff away and 2 workers who were sitting at a table stared at me till i left. As for the food the bagels have been so tough i could hardly chew it and the very last time i went the girl didnt even ask if i wanted it toasted so i was served a cold tough bagel. The coffee their always always taste like hot, sweet milk no matter what drink i order as well. Very disappointing overall experiences, i hope someone teaches them better customer service skills and food making techniques.

Abruptly After saying Good morning when it was afternoon asked are we eating? Or drinking in a unpleasant tone.
But that wasn’t really a bother, the reason for the negative review is due to how she carried herself towards her co-workers . Being very bossy, ordering a certain coworker to make bagels after he took my drink order and my husbands. She took over our orders started to make our drinks but got sidetracked and later returned to the espresso machine seeing our drinks SHE was preparing unfinished and hollard back at the same certain coworker “why didn’t you finish these drinks!?” And at his defense replied you told me to make bagels…. Super unprofessional entertainment…
I hope she can improve in her service not just to customers but especially towards her co-workers.
