Unfortunately, this was our last visit to Tempura Halal Grill. My family and I had already experienced poor service here before. I had visited many times in the past, but this recent experience with the worst service yet confirmed our decision not to return.
First, several buffet items were almost empty and were never refilled. When we asked the owner to refill chicken and noodles, he refused—even though it was only 8:20 PM. I had called earlier and was told the buffet would be open until 9:00 PM and the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. My girlfriend and I could only eat from about half of the available dishes, including dessert.
Second, we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water, and the service was extremely slow. The owner, in particular, did not seem to care that customers were waiting near station for 10–15 minutes just to get naan. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the empty food stations. The staff avoided customers instead of helping them.
Third—and most disappointing—was the sudden price increase and added service fee, justified in the name of a religious festival (Eid). Using religion as a reason to raise prices without any prior notice feels inappropriate.
What made this even more frustrating is the sudden price increase. We used to pay around $43 for two people, and now it’s almost $65 for the same buffet experience—with worse service and half-empty food stations.
It’s disappointing to see business owners use tactics like this without transparency. With poor service, empty food stations, and unjustified extra charges, this experience was extremely frustrating.

I’ve eaten here multiple times now, and this was my third visit — and they never disappoint. The lunch buffet is available every day, and on weekends they even do a dinner buffet, which is awesome. Every single time I come, the food is fresh, flavorful, and hot, and they always have different dishes, so it never feels repetitive.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is very clean, which I really appreciate. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. The buffet price is also very reasonable for the variety and quality of food you get.
Overall, this is a really nice restaurant with great food, great service, and a clean environment. Highly recommend — easily a 5-star place. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Nice relaxed environment with a good variety of Pakistani dishes. Fresh and authentic taste. We mostly go there to have their buffet which has about 15 dishes which includes a mix of Chinese, grill, gravies, salad and dessert items. Fountain drinks are also included in the price. They are usually pretty quickly refilling food trays which is nice and shows that the staff is paying attention. Naan is served as soon as you are seated on the table. Service is always very friendly and pricing is decent.
Bathrooms had 2 stalls and both were not clean so we ended up not using them except for washing hands. A little more attention there would be great.
Parking is ample as its a big complex with lots of stores.
Tempura also does Alacarte items and party trays which are all very good.

The chicken manchurian looked like chicken soup and not fresh. It seemed like they mixed chicken and nihari gravy. The rice looked and tasted stale. Never again. Even we visited buffet in person once and there were flies in the store. This restaurant has 3 locations but unfortunately can not invest in fly trappers (Zevo) etc. Avoid the place.

Maaz and the team here make the best food and service. This is the place to eat. The buffet and the restaurant never disappoints and everything tastes like home cooked.
The low reviews here make no sense as I have very high standards…see my profile for other reviews and I am a very harsh foodie and a critic. But I am yet to find a good tasting restaurant like Tempura here.
Mumtaz Kushu and the wait staff is awesome in service. They are always willing to help no matter how busy the restaurant is.
The food selection and quality are always consistent and top notch. The value is always good.
Fish, Beef, Paya and Chicken selection are all top notch. I come here all the time with my wife.
The taste here cannot be found anywhere else…even places like Agha. I have eaten and lived in New York, Lahore and many other famous places. I don’t give 5 stars easily. Go to this place and be sure to tip.

Tried this ‘gem’ after a neighbor’s recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. The bbq platter and mango lassi complemented one another perfectly. Spiciness was just right. The host and staff were a delight and the atmosphere was perfect. Def will be back again. If you’re in the area and looking for delicious Indo-Pak cuisine definitely be sure to stop by here. Beats going to another well known restaurant on the other side of town for sure.

What outstanding customer service! I arrive to pick up a catering order for my mother, and the owner offered me free drinks while I was waiting. That was a really kind gesture, especially since I had been driving for a while. These little things make a big difference. The food is also amazing.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening special, providing excellent recommendations. The goat curry was fantastic, but the service truly made it a 10/10 experience.
