Went there for my 65th birthday. Absolutely loved it! The service personnel were outstandingly friendly and helpful and the food is some of the best I’ve had. Could not have chosen a better spot. Plus the meals were reasonably priced!

The food is definitely worth the price. The only reason it’s getting four stars is the server we had definitely not used to working in a high-end restaurant.
Anyone who stands over you while you’re filling out the tip section on the check in my opinion doesn’t know what he’s doing. Had to get his attention more than once to refill our drinks and water.
This is my third time at this restaurant. The food has always been on point along with the service. I’m not sure what happened this time.
The ribeye is amazing. The brussel sprouts are off the hook and the meatloaf is worth its weight in gold.

RECOMMEND.
This is a neighborhood gem… a local bistro that offers a warm welcome, a good BAR, live music (Thursday evenings), and curated menu. The food is well-prepared from fresh ingredients, and plated very nicely.

Our server was awesome. All three dishes served lukewarm. Dear Chef of Tempo, please do not make that horrible stroganoff dish!!! One bite of it and it was horrid! Tasteless, weird brown sauce that looked like BBQ sauce. Noodles hard, served almost cold. What a disappointment. When drunk customers walk in and are obnoxious at the bar, please address it. That woman last night was out of control. Could not wait to leave.

We were very excited to give this place a try, but it was disappointing. Our server Lizzete was great though, but first our Dr Pepper sodas we got was heavy carbonated water tasting, & low on taste…but was better after a syrup bib change, which wasn’t a big deal. Unfortunately our Tomahawk Ribeye for 2 we ordered as medium rare, & it came out to us well done, so we had to wait even longer to eat while they cooked another. When the second Tomahawk was brought out it was cooked to order, but wasn’t very good, & lacked flavor…wasn’t worth $135 for it alone, maybe rushed. They did give us a complimentary board during our wait between Tomahawks, but it wasn’t very good, & did not make up for the mistake.
The Asparagus was very good, & the Brussel sprouts was also very good. The Mac & cheese though was way over priced at $28 just for it…wasn’t worth it. Our bill ended up being $273 including tip, & it was not worth it at all…high quality Flemings like prices but low quality food, & experience.
We definitely won’t be back.

True Innovative Beginnings
Lizette, (I hope I spelled it correctly. ‍♀️) our waitress is always friendly. I’ve eaten here before and she was our waitress then. She knows the foods by taste and I enjoyed crab stuffed halibut. She asked what we were celebrating and I told her I graduated and I’m a Chaplain. She congratulated me and gave my husband and I a slice of lemon cake to share. That was so thoughtful. Thank you for you.
Stay Blessed

Father God,
Please continue to give strength, patience, and kindness to Lizette, the servers and management. Pour out your blessings to them for their demanding work, their needs, and give your divine presence to guide their interactions and bring joy to both them and their customers, recognizing their role in serving others. We appreciate them all, in Jesus’ name. Amen

My family has been coming to Tempo Urban Bistro for years and I can say confidently that we’ll continue to keep coming back. The food is superb, with seasonal specials and menu updates. Most requests can be accomodated due to their meals being prepared fresh. The atmosphere captures “small town bistro” perfectly, never too stuffy nor too casual. And finally, the service is unrivaled. It may sound cliche, but the staff really does make you feel like family. If you live in Verrado or are just passing through, I highly recommend adding Tempo to your list of must eat places.

We were there on Sunday, 7:00 p.m. reservation we had Jacob as the server. It was my mother-in-law’s birthday, we called ahead to check to make sure if we could bring in a cake that I had made and they approved which was so wonderful because I had spent some time making this cake and she loves my cakes. We started with blue point oysters and Jacob told us about the kumamoto oysters that were also available, so we got them too. They were wonderful! So fresh, no sand! For our entree we got the braised short rib which was to die for! It was so tender and completely worth the $42! My mother-in-law got the grilled meatloaf and she liked it. I got the large charcuterie board to nibble on and it was okay, great amount but definitely needed some fruit and some mustard and possibly maybe some pickless and more crackers and bread things to go with them all. Four half slices of bread for a whole large charcuterie board is kind of ridiculous [there were three of us so we each got one half slice of bread and we had to rock paper scissors for the last slice LOL]. We did order bread service but we’re pretty disappointed because it did not taste homemade it tasted like canned biscuits put together. And the tomato butter had no flavor. For 8 bucks, we deserve a good homemade focaccia or table bread. Our server went above and beyond! Taking a Polaroid for my mother-in-law to Mark the occasion was fantastic and he even provided a candle for my cake! I would seriously go out of my way for this restaurant again.
