What a delightful small town find! It had a cozy old world feel and a menu full of options to please just about anyone. We got the All American Burger and the one with habanero sauce. Both were delicious. We also got the French Dip. It was so tender and perfectly seasoned. Next time we’re nearby, we’ll definitely stop in again and try some of their other offerings.

In 2025 I visited again with friends and we had another great experience. Food, service, and atmosphere were all great! Amongst the three of us we had: Appetizers The Big Mozz and Pretzel Bites and for meals The Big Mouth Vinnie Burger, Beer Cheese Pretzel Burger, and Bourbon Bacon Burger.

We have been here in the past where the food was ok and prices reasonable. On a few occasions my husband ordered straight bourbon on the rocks and every time found a dead bug in his drink more than likely due to the bottle not being appropriately capped. He quit ordering alcohol there. Last night we went there for dinner and ordered a salad and the cowboy platter. We arrived a bit after 6 pm ordered drinks and an appetizer. We received the appetizer hot but seriously overcooked. We than ordered our meal all before 630pm. Time came and went. It was now 724 pm and I told my husband maybe they forgot our meal. At 736 pm, the waitress (also bartender as well) brought out our meals. Crispy chicken on my salad was cold. The lettuce in my salad was rotten (see through and slimy as if it had been frozen and thawed out). The cowboy platter was completely cold and the chicken tenders, French fries, corn nuggets completely overcooked and cold. It was quite apparent that our meals had been sitting waiting to be delivered to us for quite some time. They were very busy and completely understaffed. We paid our bill and left without eating anything other than the few disgusting bites that turned us off as the food was completely overcooked, cold, and awful. Not too mention having to wait for almost a full hour for our meals. Not sure if we will be back .. sad.

Should change the name to “House of Salt”. My pork chop was dry and salty I really couldn’t eat it. I wanted something not frozen. My mistake. Pub chips also cooked in old oil. Ew.

Great service and atmosphere in this restaurant that is a piece of Osage history. The menu has plenty to choose from, but the steak and chops are superb. Excellent drinks from the bar. Kid friendly with high chairs available. The grilled Brussels are fantastic. Would highly recommend them, along with the fried string beans and the signature steak.

Had the Apple Bourbon Bacon Chops. The best chops I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked with the apple bourbon sauce to die for. The grilled Brussels sprouts Sriracha sauce to dip them in was amazing. The service was great and definitely will be coming back.

Typically a very great place to eat. However, tonight was a very frustrating time eating here.
It took 15 minutes to be greeted by our server and asked for our drink order. This was directly mentioned twice to the waiter at first contact.
It then took 25 minutes for our appetizer to arrive.
Finally, I got up to get a refill from the bar because it was taking too long for our waiter to check back in.
No manager checked in because presumably the waiter did not mention the poor service time on his part, nor did he offer anything to compensate for his poor service.
Because I and the other guest wanted to leave, we decided not to ask to speak to a manager tonight but would have appreciated one stopping in at the table.

Yummy!!! Loved the atmosphere too!! I am a SALAD LOVING GAL & I love that salads here are so creative & tasty!!!!! We will be back!! Awesome outdoor dining set up too!!
