Teles Mexican Restaurant in Tyler crushed it. The second you walk in the place smells like heaven and looks clean enough to eat off the floor not that I’d try it unless they wanted to spice things up. Service is fast friendly and feels like real hospitality not that fake smile stuff.
The food? Damn. Flavor for days fresh plates coming out hot and loaded like they’re trying to seduce you. Every bite tastes like somebody’s abuela put her whole soul into it.

Hidden gem for sure — all our meals were delicious. The only thing that wasn’t absolutely fantastic was the chips and queso. The chips tasted like they were out of a bag you can get anywhere and the queso was a bit plain and kind of pre-prepared tasting as well. We mixed salsa in it though and improved it greatly. The main courses though are 1000% worth the trip though. The rice and beans are perfect – those and everything else we ordered was extremely authentic and delicious.

I’ve been here several times. I always get the loaded nachos. Each time I’ve gone the size has gotten smaller and smaller, and the last time I went the meat was cold and it just didn’t taste right. My fiancee loves this place and she’s pregnant and craves Mexican food. It’s unfortunate that I ordered the same food same size and it’s always smaller than last time.

Service was great. Friendly and very attentive. Food came out reasonably quick and was fairly priced for the amount you receive. Everything I’ve eaten there had it own unique taste. Nothing was bland or basic. The cooks definitely take pride in what they create. Was very impressed with this location.

The food and service were EXCELLENT. The dining area and seating were a bit plain, and there was no alcohol at all. I was told by the waiter that you could B.Y.O.B. So the food and service made up for everything else. We will definitely be back with friends and family.
