The Karen’s”Flying D” Bison Chili at Ted’s is a masterclass in comfort food. By using bison instead of beef, they’ve created a dish that is incredibly hearty but never greasy.

The food was amazing! Our waitress, Emilia, was top notch! She was quiet but very efficient! She didn’t have to ask if I needed a refill but arrived with it right before my glass was empty. My husband and I were very impressed!

The restaurant is very clean and tidy. We were greeted very warmly and promptly seated. Our server, Anthony, was pleasant and helpful with suggestions. He was very attentive with us and other patrons. The food was outstanding.
The only downside to the whole experience was a “Karen” type that arrived after and seated across from us who proceeded to try to make everyone as miserable as herself. Can’t blame that on the restaurant or staff.
Will definitely be back!

I got the Bison New York strip steak with 50/50 fries and onion rings and asparagus. Everything was good except the asparagus which was charred. Our waitress wasn’t great she only came to the table 4 times. No refills and the glasses are full of ice so we needed them. My wife got chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and French fries. She enjoyed hers as well except the fries were overly salted. I love the look inside the bar was traditional and well stocked. Would give them another shot.

I visited here for the first time on a certain day in September.
My customer took me here.
They said you can eat ” BISON”.
I ordered a BISON STEAKS ‘NEW YORK STRIP” as medium.
I was also able to chose two side.
I selected a House Garden Salad and French fries.
Those were so delicious.
I’ll try a TED’S FILET next time.

Our burgers were very salty but otherwise the were good. I imagine with less salt they wouldve been fantastic. The small bowl of cucumbers they serve were very good. The atmosphere and decor were nice. Our waitress seemed as if she was having a bad day. Id try it one more time to see if the burgers and staff were less salty. Lol

Unique spin on typical American food with beef. They specialize in buffalo and its pretty incredible. It definitely felt homey, almost like you were in montana. They nailed it. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and they had a wide selection of drinks at the bar. The staff was professional and never missed a beat. They still kept the Classics for American style tissues but most of them have a buffalo or bison option.

What a wonderful experience! The hostess and the waitress were very kind and helpful in suggestions. The food was exquisite! I got the bison ribeye. It was cooked perfectly. I truly wish there was a location in Chattanooga! This will be a stopping place again if I’m in the area.

Not very busy when we first got there, but it quickly filled up. Since the restaurant specializes in bison, I just had to try the bison short ribs with garlic potatoes and carrots. The Mrs had the beef smash burgers as bison is not her thing! Lol. The couple with us had the bison NY Strip and canyon creek burger. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I also tried the Buffalo 41, and it was surprisingly good!!
