First time here. We were looking for a place for a quick bite and stopped in. The waitress was very good as was the food and the prices. I love these places because a family can still go out and have a great meal for a reasonable price. We will be back and will definitely recommend this place!

Ever since THE original owner stopped running this corporation it has steadily gone downhill. He died in 2007. Will never return to the Mayfield location. It’s too bad because years ago this was a very good place to eat. Now—very poor management and employees. Place was empty except for two customers yet I had to speak up to be seated, finally seated! Older woman cashier with dyed hair was away from her post the entire time. When she finally showed up she was talking to another employee, the entire time away from her post. Got worse from there. Place was empty yet it took a long time to receive a cold meal. The waitress, also older, finally brought the food and it was not what I had ordered. There are lots of good older workers so that’s not the issue. She obviously placed the order incorrectly. Not only was I brought a wrong meal, but it was also significantly costlier than what I had actually ordered. I am mad I didn’t just leave then and there. A bad experience. Also, it was very cold; like hardly any heat was on.

This restaurant has a diverse selection of foods. I especially like that they serve breakfast during the entire time they’re open. They also have free refills on most of their beverages. The omelet, home fries, and biscuits were tasty. The host and the servers were friendly and efficient. I would visit again.

This had to be one of the most disappointing meals I ever had. We came into the restaurant around 8pm. Only one other couple was eating. We thought this would not be a very long wait. I was wrong. After the long wait, the server brought our food. We noticed the blueberry cheesecakes had hardly any sauce on them. The server said they had run out. I had ordered hash browns with my meal, they did not come. I finished my meal by the time they were brought to my table. If you run out of something, come and tell us and we would have ordered something else. I mentioned something to the hostess that took our bill and she just shrugged it off. Over $40.00. dollars. You would have thought we were dining at a five star restaurant. All I can say it we are very disappointed.

I was there with my family. I know server’s name, but I wont mention it. She did not introduce herself, have to ask twice for high-chair for kids. No straws given, no napkins, never came to check on how the food was, if we wanna order something, I have to ask for boxes, and again ask for the bag. Literally, she could care less if we dined or not. She was very pleasant to everyone around our table, kept checking on them.
Here is what we choosed to do, we smiled thanked, payed the bill and left a decent tip. Just so world can use some kindness, may be she was having a bad day, may be she had bad experience with people of different origins.

This particular Bob evens is falling off. It’s 2/3/2026 @ 8:08pm I could not place an order because the cook walked out. REALLY? ok maybe.
The last time I ordered here I received burnt sausage which shouldn’t have never made it out the kitchen. I was told I couldn’t receive a refund because I ordered through Uber. I don’t understand that one, Bob evens still got paid right? Never was able get my money back on that $70 order.
Bob evens please get a handle on this location before everyone knows about the poor service.

They have a somewhat new staff and it’s working for the good. My wife and I ate there tonight, both of us had the 7.99 chicken dinner they both were over cooked and half the size of the ones pictured. I think I will stick to breakfast when I go there

We got there right around 9am. It wasn’t too busy, we were seated quickly, and immediately had the lady take our drink order. We had our food order taken and brought out quickly. Food was great and exactly how we ordered it. Would definitely come back.
