Great service is what stands out here. Charley behind the bar was amazing. She knew the menu, and specials with no hesitation. Her suggestions were spot on. She was efficient professional and friendly. I had the bison and beef patty burger. It was great but portions were more like slider patties at 3oz. I also enjoyed a wedge salad that was a good size and very fresh. The side pickles were a hit too. I would come again!

Tony was our server . He greeted our table when moments of us being seated. He made great suggestion on our drinks/Cocktails. He also make suggestion on a starter ( Crab Cakes, they were amazing). He shared the Chef’s feature of the day as well. We order Bison Steaks. Once the steak arrived at the table tony ask us to cut into our steaks to make sure they were cooked to our liking. Our steaks were cooked perfect. Tony continue to check on our table. This was one of my finest experience.
Note: the four of us had planed on just ordering bison burger and we ended up having Starter, Cocktails, Bison Steaks, ant to top it off we had an Apple Crisp dessert. Which Tony suggested.
We will ask for Tony again to served us when we visit your establishment.

We had a fantastic time last night with our server, Michelle! She was friendly, seemed to sincerely enjoy our ongoing chatting while busily serving us and her other customers. Her manner was professional and felt relaxed. The place had few guests when we entered, but by the time our meal came to the table, the place was packed. Happily, the tall booths make it more enjoyable for conversation since they block much of the noises made by the restaurant and customers. We plan to ask for Michelle when we return as we greatly appreciated and enjoyed her service.

Our son wanted steak for his birthday so my family (party of 10) and I celebrated here at Ted’s! This was our first visit at this location (Johnson Ferry Rd) and compared to the southside location their service was impeccable and so was our dinner!! Didn’t get much food pics but our dishes ranged from the Avalon Burger, Ted’s Bacon Cheeseburger, Delicious Duo (equivalent to two sliders; not a double burger like my other son thought) to grilled fish, Bison nachos, Wedge Salad and the Ted’s filet bison recommended by our server Libby to our son who thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Let me back track a tad. When my husband and I first entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted by Scott (who we later found out was the manager)! We felt welcomed and very comfortable! Second we were greeted by our sweet server Libby!! She was the best!! She made sure we had everything we needed!!
My husband went back out to bring in our son’s cake from the truck and asked Scott could he bring it in to keep cool until we left. Our original plan was to have it back at our sons’ place but he offered to cut it for us here at the restaurant! That was so kind of him to offer!
I highly recommend this location!!!
When I tell our service was top notch it was just that and then some!! We drove about an hour to get here and it was well worth the drive!!
Libby and Scott thank you again for your kindness and helping to make our son’s birthday a success!!! Also shout out to the chef(s) and those who made our meal awesome!! You all are the best!!

Ted’s was OK. While the food does taste good – Everything is pricey. Be sure to get the pickles while you wait.
Go early. This will help avoid the crowd and what seems like a lack of servers to cover. We went at 3pm. We were the only ones there. And there was only one server.
But even with noone else there, food delivery was slow.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The most important ingredient that makes it – the bacon – was nearly RAW. After waiting an unnecessary amount of time for the server to come back, I had to go hunt them down.
They apologized and took the plate I deposited all the raw bacon on. Bacon came back looking nearly as raw as before. It seems that they just tried to crisp up the same raw pieces. Unfortunately, the bacon was still mostly raw.
At this point we just asked for Togo boxes for our untouched burgers.
Summary;
– one server who disappeared after dropping off food
– raw bacon on burger
– bacon came back raw
– over priced
– yummy pickles to eat while waiting

Food was GREAT drinks were excellent and the server James was even better! Everything was hit and fresh and no matter how many times we asked James for something he was back in a flash! It was 5 of us and The crab cakes were delicious as was the bison nachos but those burgers were the Star of the show! I had the Ted’s burger with grilled onions and bacon and WOW! Burger was cooked perfectly and that horseradish dipping sauce took an amazing burger to out of this world. Dip your fries or onion rings in it and thank me later !

So I went on a date and he recommended this restaurant which specializes in bison. Now I’ve never had bison but I’m up for trying new things so we met there. They have alot of food items that have bison and they also have alternatives for those who aren’t as adventurous lol. They have a few vegetarian options and they offer fish and chicken as well. I ended up getting the knife-and-fork chili cheese burger. I figured I’d get two for one in trying bison in chili form and in burger form. The burger was really good!!! It has jalapeños and onions on it and they were smart in giving you bread on the bottom of the burger because it would’ve gotten messy if they served it traditional, hence the name knife-and-fork . I had an order of fries and they were good too but the star is the burger for sure. For dessert I got the brownie and ice cream. The dessert was good I wish the brownie was a little sweeter but the ice cream and caramel sauce help bring it all together. Overall, a really great place to try something new. I recommend getting a burger your first time going. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t crowded. We were seated pretty quickly and our waitress was very nice!! As far as the date…. well let’s just say I won’t be going out with him again lol. But I will definitely be back for Ted’s .

Super disappointing visit the other night. Did online checkin ahead of time but they didn’t see me in system when I got there. We were the only ones in line but it was over 20 minutes before we were seated. When we ordered, we were told that the food was a little behind and may be 25-30 minutes. It was 45 minutes for two burgers. The burgers were super crumbly and the broccoli was hardly cooked. Fries had no salt on them either. Not sure we’ll go back. At least our server was polite!
