My girlfriend and I went to Ted’s on Union Street tonight and had the worst meal we’ve ever had together. From the atmosphere, to the food and down to the bathrooms, there is nothing nice I can say about the experience. The Mac and cheese was cold and the whole dish of it could be lifted from the plate in one big glop. The onion rings were not only burnt but greasy and limp at the same time. The fryer grease has undoubtedly never been changed as it gave the onion rings and fries a pungent taste. The footlong hot dog was pencil thin with an indescribable taste. Not even the drinks could redeem our meal as the lids leaked every time you took a drink. And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, we went to the bathroom where we faced a stall with no door and a general level of filth, disgust that rivals a New York City sewer drain. My recommendation- stay away from this pit. Your date, stomach and immune system will thank you.

Lately I’ve not had a good experience. Today my fries were over cooked and hard, they gave me like the end of the bag. And when I tried to use my rewards points the cashier said they applied and I still paid full price. Just go get help if you don’t know. The place is way to expensive for food not to be made correctly manager needs to supervise in monitor material a lot better.

I went to teds today at 4 o’clock. I placed my order and they forgot my fries. Told the girl and she went to get them and threw them in my bag with such a attitude.My fries were all over the hotdogs. Such poor customer service and attitude. I called to report her a few minutes after to the manager. Nobody should be treated with such disrespect and poor customer service.she really needs to get fired or get some proper customer service skills and not be so miserable. I wont be back.

Our Ted’s experience was a very good one! If it’s fast food you seek, and you happen to be in Buffalo, New York, Ted’s is definitely worth considering.

My companion was very impressed with their cheeseburger. They highlighted the taste and the freshness.

My grilled chicken, bacon, and cheese sandwich was awesome! Even the bun was next level. The chicken was juicy and the added BBQ sauce was a great add-on!

The fries were very good and were the perfect compliment to our meals.

The service at the counter was friendly and efficient.

The premises were clean and comfortable.

Ted’s earned their five stars!

Food: Delicious American cuisine. I had a double bacon cheeseburger, a chili cheese dog and a regular hot dog. Everything tasted great, especially because they cook over charcoal and it is prepared right in front of you. I love being able to customize each item as uniquely as I want. Plus, between 3:00pm and 4:00pm, regular hot dogs are half off.

Service: The employees were extremely friendly, welcoming and very accommodating.

Overall I had a great experience and I definitely recommend.

Only customer at 5pm. Order thru kiosk while staff watches. $3.50 for a loganberry: always worth it, except today. Second choice is root beer…..sucks for me. Both syrups are out yet no sign? I ask staff about it and was told “Oh, yeah….it’s broke. Were out of Loganberry and Root beer.” WTH??? Order dog well done and it looked like it was cooked on a roller. Onion rings were okay.

Overall, not a good experience considering the cost. Why does the payment screen prompt for a tip when the sullen staff is just handing me a tray? McDonald’s, Wendy’s, BK dont prompt for a tip ….why does Ted’s? The Teds’ on Sheridan Drive and NF Blvd are both an incredible experience….this was truly a disappointment. Might consider closing this location down…..it’s killiing Ted’s reputation.

This location is utilizing the electronic ordering method where you place your order on a fingerprint-stained tablet or with the employee at the register. I ordered at the register. As I described my order the register employee began yelling my order to the grill employee. I hadn’t yet provided all the details of my order so the register employee kept yelling additional details to the grill cook as I provided them. Once I finished placing my order the register employee slid a pager to me as she walked away mid transaction to finish packaging someone else’s order. I had specified that my double cheese burger be well done and come with only one slice of cheese. The grill employee then loudly reconfirmed the details of my order with the register employee who by now was helping another customer. Lots of back and forth yelling between the two employees when my order was supposedly visible on a screen. The grill employee then proceeded to place two slices of cheese on my burger patties when the register employee came over to quickly correct the order for one slice. There was serious disorganization with order taking, grilling and bagging my order. I purposely avoid frequenting this location now for this reason. The employees are young, disorganized and obviously untrained in customer interface. Disappointing because I have been going to this location for decades.

Stopped here for dinner with my wife on Sunday November 23rd. We were greeted with a few kiosks you use for ordering. We decided to use this, because we weren’t sure what we wanted.

This was a huge mistake. You are given a pager with a number after you place an order through the kiosk. My wife and I ordered and then sat down to wait. It seemed like things were taking a long time. The pager finally starts to beep, indicating our order was ready. I went to the counter and they didn’t have anything for us. Apparently they gave our food to someone else, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for them to remake everything. The young women behind the counter seems like they could care less about providing good service to the customers.

The restaurant was absolutely filthy too. We saw more than a few tables littered with napkins and cups from previous patrons.

This was our first time trying And both my husband and I thought it was pretty good. The onion rings were a bit soggy and maybe cooked in old grease but overall the hotdogs were good and the staff is on point getting
everyone helped and dealing with the long line.
