We found this while traveling through. It was fast and delicious! The basket option gets you fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. Kids meal comes with fries and applesauce. We got baklava to go. The Coney dogs were delicious. The gyro bowl was a great option with lots of cheese and sauce without all the bread. We had friendly service and were impressed!

Tasty gyros. Best cheeseburger I’ve had in Des Moines. Onion rings were very soggy and mid. Lady at the counter is nice. Highly recommend!

Normally I love this place. Today sucked. Came in. I was the only one here. Order a chicken gyro and cheese sticks. The lady at the counter was super nice and brought my food. The cheese sticks were still frozen in the center. I brought them back up. The cook just microwaved them. The cheese spilled out and they got soft and soggy. And that’s what they tried to hand back to me. I said “were they microwaved?” And they said yes. Like you couldn’t pick them up because they were soft and gross. I said “no thank you I don’t want them” and the lady at the counter offered to remake them.
The counter lady is great. The cooks seem lazy today for as empty as the place is.
If I wanted microwaved cheese sticks I could have purchased some from the freezer section at the grocery store

Every time I eat at Ted’s, I always go with the gyro. They’re amazing. Plenty of meat and sauce. The service is fantastic. The wait is short. It’s always seems very clean. It’s spacious with plenty of booths and tables. Big variety of food. You can’t go wrong with the cheese sticks. Lots of parking too.

The gyros are amazing. I really enjoy the chicken gyro and add feta. They make their own cheese sticks which are fantastic. If you’re super hunger get the basket.

Ted’s coney island is a special place for me. Because my mom comes from out of town once a week and we go to the nearest Park and eat it at a picnic table right off the Urbandale library. I get the tenderloin and my mom gets the ginnigrinder .they are both awsome. Go there soon.

Just pooped in for a Gyro and some breadsticks. This place was hopping! Busy but fast! Food was hot and super fresh. Very delicious Gyro and hand breaded cheese sticks! Sorry I forgot to get a picture of the gyro before I took a bite! I’m gonna have to come back to try more items from the menu!

So i always get gyros here and they are great, got a chicken sandwich and I would say that it might be the best around, need to eat a few more to be 100% sure. This place is Always good, filling, and fresh. Price is really good as well.

I can’t believe I have never written a review about this restaurant. This is one of those places that you can always count on. I don’t know how many dozens of times I’ve been there, and the food has always been fantastic. The staff is super friendly, and prices are not bad at all. I highly recommend this restaurant. I know I will definitely be going back many times.

Really good gyro. Cole slaw, onion rings and french fries were all good. Staff was friendly enough, low key atmosphere, lots of tables and tv’s. I recommend eating here if you love gyro’s.
