Brought my daughter here for dinner. She lives in the Dallas area and likes to come here for good TexMex food.
Food was great as usual. Chips, salsa, queso, tortillas, pickled jalapeños, carrots and onions are awesome.
Don’t forget to ask for the complimentary sopapillas!!
Server was beyond great. Made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.

When we first arrived,I was a bit worried because there were so many people already waiting. When we checked in they said the wait would be about 5 minutes. We thought no way, but sure enough. It was 5 minutes or maybe even less. I was impressed. The food was good and came out really quickly. We tried one of their temporary menu items, the fajita pizza. It was pretty good. But I’ll try anything once. Not my favorite but it was okay. We also had the street tacos with rice and potatoes for the sides. I don’t like street tacos so I didn’t try them but my husband liked them. I did have some of the potatoes and rice and they were yummy. I also got a frozen peach margarita and hubs got a Tecate with salt and lime. My drink was good, I wouldn’t say it tasted like peach, but it was good. And who doesn’t love a cold Mexican beer with salt and lime? The tortilla, cheese, salsa and chip set up was fabulous, of course. The restaurant was very busy and very loud but it was a busy time on a Friday night, so that’s to be expected. Our server was very attentive (almost too attentive at first) and helpful. The restaurant was clean despite being so hectic and busy. The prices are not horrible. Everything came to a little over $50. The parking is a bit of a pain, but only because that shopping center is so super busy. Overall, it was a good experience. We’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant gives you extras, lots of extras like two different salsas and a cheese dip with chips plus hand made tortillas made in house. We also received a free taste of Mexican mashed potatoes and creamy corn. The food is delicious and just a little bit different than other restaurants Mexican food. Service was very personal and the Manager Jose even came by and talked to us. Our server Tonya was friendly and personal. Try it soon and expect something different and delicious. We had the enchilada rice and beans plus the Pollo Especial Monterrey style. The atmosphere is fun and the price was $27.23 for both of us.

Ted’s Café Escondido in Del City is always a fantastic choice for great Mexican food! The service is friendly and fast, and our food came out hot and fresh. The cheese dip was creamy and delicious, and the fresh tortillas were warm and perfectly made. Everything tasted amazing, and the prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. Ted’s never disappoints always consistent, flavorful, and a great place to eat!

We had an excellent experience! The food was fantastic and our server, Brandon, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Ted’s has earned a repeat customer. Be sure to ask for Brandon!

The food was just as amazing as I remember, if not, spectacular. I highly recommend asking for Jose if you want exceptional service. I don’t think there is another place in town that compares to Ted’s at all. I am one for a greatly prepared quesadilla (call me basic) but not everyone makes them the same. The Ted’s Favorite Dilla was super tasty and me and my fiance shared the taco salad. I love seeing my people and this place is where you SHOULD go to feel included.

Our party of 4 only waited a few minutes even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Our waiter Brandon was very proficient. After he took our orders he came by frequently to see if we needed anything. He kept us posted on when our food would be served. He was very polite and provided excellent service. Thank you Brandon for your positive attitude and attentiveness. It made our lunch a very good experience.

We eat probably 5 out of 7 days a week at Ted’s in Del City. It is like home! All of the staff are exceptionally nice, and Pedro (mgr) makes sure we get everything we want, especially salsa specially made for us ( without jalapeño). The food is delicious. It makes us sad when one of the staff leaves, but new ones are trained well. WE LOVE TED’S ♥️

I am very disappointed with our experience at this location.
My family and I went there for breakfast. Our server was very kind and attentive she brought our drinks, took our order, checked on us consistently, and continued bringing extra cheese, salsa, chips, and tortillas.
While we were waiting for our food, one of my children accidentally spilled a drink, which went all over the table and the floor. One of the employees responsible for cleaning tables came over, placed a “wet floor” sign, and then walked away. She stood in the walkway talking with other employees, including someone who appeared to be the manager, while we were left sitting at a dirty table.
Our server was clearly busy with another table, but as soon as she was able, she came back and cleaned the spill herself. This was especially concerning because there were at least three other employees assigned to cleaning tables and assisting with food, as well as a manager present, yet no one stepped in to help.
I work in customer service and I am very familiar with how restaurants operate. I have never seen a server who is responsible for delivering food also be expected to get down on the floor and clean spills with rags. This raises serious concerns about cross-contamination and food safety.
Cleanliness and guest safety should be a priority at all times, especially when children are involved. The lack of urgency, teamwork, and leadership in this situation was very noticeable. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that staff are better trained to stay attentive to cleanliness and proper procedures.
