Oh my goodness!! Saw this place on a food show. We were going to be passing through St Louis anyway so we decided to give it a try. Amazing! The absolutely creamiest custard ever, served in dozens of flavors and in several different presentations. We had “concrete”. So thick you can turn the cup upside down and the custard won’t fall out. Flavors were intense and delicious. If I lived near this place I’d weigh 600 pounds

Great custard. Despite the common suggestion of trying their concrete (which is like a milkshake) I would actually suggest just getting a plain cone!!! The concrete tastes like a slightly better milkshake… but the cone highlights the uniqueness of the custard, it is so unbelievably smooth and creamy. Service was fast!

Great location to get some custard and cool off during the summer heat. During my visit there was hardly any wait at all! I had planned on visiting several times, but each attempt was diverted due to the long lines this location normally has. Their long list of flavors is impressive. The vanilla concentrate is divine, and I also ordered a Cherry/Pistachio Malt which has always been my favorite combination of flavors, and they did not disappoint. There is a gift shop nearby, and I really enjoyed learning the history of this iconic location. Staff was very friendly, and service was fast!

This place was recommended by numerous travel sites. I came here to try the best of STL. I was not disappointed. I’ve tried numerous custard companies (see my reviews) and Ted Drewes is one of the top spots I will recommend from now on. I tried their chocolate, mint, banana, and vanilla. I liked it all!
They have lots of free parking spaces available. All wheelchair accessible. Be ready to fall in line during busy hours. Don’t forget to visit their souvenir store across the parking lot.

This is a busy place, but the line moves fast! I tried turtle sundae, which was mentioned by a gentleman in front of us. It was vanilla custard, Carmel, chocolate and pecan! Delicious! St Louis area is noted for there frozen custard. Worth a trip for dessert! Would stop again! ” Cement” means all mixed in, I like the term.
