Had such a good meal here, i absolutely had to share. I came in for the first time thinking I’d just get a burrito or some tacos or something and ended up seeing they had a special menu handwritten near the reg. That’s how you know it’s the good stuff haha. Ordered a bowl of pozole and two tacos de birria and it did NOT disappoint. My friend and I basically ate in silence besides the occasional mmmmMMmmMmmm. Pozole was PACKED with meat, it was flavorful and not oily which is something I always look for. Toppings were fresh and crisp and the tostadas on the side were perfectly crunchy. The tacos were also packed with meat, flavorful and juicy and again, not greasy or oily!! I was so full by the end of it, but I ate every last piece of lettuce lol. One of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in Portland and as a Mexican, I am picky!!! Give ‘em a try!!

Love the people at Tecos! Affordable food that’s super tasty! Portions so big, you should share, but we don’t because we are monsters. Tried the shrimp cocktail for the first time and was almost scared of its awesome glory. It’s awesome, go there.

I have eaten here many times and the food is always fresh, hot, and tastes great. The plates are big and it is usually a bit too much to finish in one sitting. The staff have always been polite and prompt. It is like a fast food restaurant in the way you receive your order at the counter, seat yourself, and there are bins to put your plate and tray in. The dining room reminds me of an older McDonald’s style but it gives it a relaxed atmosphere. I play video poker there on occasion and the room and machines are always clean. The staff will bring your food into the video poker room if you request it also. In summary, good food, nice atmosphere, and polite and helpful staff. If you are looking for good Mexican food at a good price without the restaurant I highly recommend you give them a try.

I’d been trying to find some good potato egg & cheese tacos/burritos- especially served all day. I’m from Texas and was kind of wanting something slightly familiar while on a long road trip. Found this spot and tried it with poblano peppers (I’m vegetarian). It was pretty good. Very hot temperature-wise at first but good. Got the large burrito. I’ll say the poblanos were a little “overwhelming” in the burrito just as far as how many slices there were compared to the eggs/chz/potato but still enjoyed it. Just picked some of the peppers out. The salsa was decent. Got the spiciest one. It was orangish so I imagine habanero. They also gave me a red one but did prefer the habanero’s taste. Nice that they’re open late and have a drive-thru too.

I am an epic fish taco fan. So whenever there’s an opportunity to try a different restaurant I do today. I stopped by here and ordered one fish taco. It was $5.50 which I thought was pretty high 41 standard street fish taco, but I said, okay, let’s try it. The fish is literally a piece of English style. Breaded fish put into your standard, soft street taco. Absolutely no flavor at all. I’ll give them credit for the food being fresh but it was not a mexican style fish street taco for the price i expected a lot more and got way less. Literally tasted like piece of fish and chips thrown into a taco.

We have a lot of work on the area and I stop here before visiting a crew to buy burritos.
They crews really like the food and they have a large selection so you can always get different flavors.
Service is fast and they always are polite
Definitely a place I would recommend stopping at if you are in the area
And the dining room is good size if you want to eat in

I’m terribly disappointed, last Sunday the 8th I got two bean and cheese burritos around 10pm – at 3 am I felt terribly nauseous and suddenly I had to throw up, but it didn’t end there, I felt like I was going to faint.
At 6am I woke up so nauseous, this time around I had nothing left in my stomach to throw up but my stomach acids. I couldn’t even hold water or crackers. I went to the ER and spent most of my day unable to drink or hold any food at all. I was in so much pain and agony! To make matters worse the ER was packed with so many people and I had to wait 5 hours to get an IV with fluids.
I was so sick I felt like I was hallucinating, I’ve never been this sick in my life. I’m not one to write reviews to bash a business, but this is a matter of health and safety.
I had to call out of work and spend the next day trying to recover. As I spoke with some friends about my experience, I was even more disappointed to hear that they’ve also have gotten sick from this place.
you’ll think that bean and cheese burritos is a safe option but I was wrong…
I’m sure not everyone will have this experienced but I did went through it and I need to put this review out there.

I’m so grateful for these folks. I drive through and get the 3 for $5 chicken tacos a couple times a month with a Horchata, can’t beat it. Get the habanero sauce to go with. I also get the nachos, taco salad, burritos, and tostadas frequently enough. Horchata and churros are delicious.. Nice salsa bar inside!! Great freaking service!

Pretty good mexican food for a great price! The employees were nice, our order was correct, and our food came out quickly. The interior is a bit dated, but it gave it a nostalgic charm.
