Excellent food and attentive service at this hidden gem. They have a large menu to choose from as well as brunch items. We had the tacos, chicken and pork tamales, flautas, and a Chile Relleno. Everything was very tasty and fresh. They also have beer on tap as well as sports on TV. There is plenty of parking and seating. It’s definitely worth trying out. We will be going back to try more items.

So, I don’t have any pictures because the food was so good that I didn’t think about taking any. It’s our first time here and it did not let down. We got 2 chicken burritos the chicken was so tender and tasted delicious. The service was perfect and the price and the amount of food was affordable. We will definitely come back.

This happened to be the first Tecalitlan regional Mexican resto that I’ve tried in Bellingham and I see there were several of this family of restos in the vicinity. I was looking for a proper dine-in location rather than just a food truck. This location was very new, clean and the booths were comfy. Also the guy at the counter was very helpful in explaining all the different menu items. I was impressed with the size of the Carne Asada. Salsa was spicy and fresh. Would like to try all the other Teca’s in the area now that this one tasted so good.

Excellent taste explosion. I recommend getting the green and red sauces early as the salsa that came with the chips was the only blandish bite we had and immediately fixed by mixing our desired heat scale. We ordered the Carne Asada, Pollo Asada and Pozole. One roasted jalapeno and six lime wedges brought the freshness of the chicken and beef and the layers of flavor worked into these plates to an exceptional level. My wife found the hominy in her Pozole fresh and flavorful and different from the textures of so many canned preparations we’ve tasted. The addition of yet another Mexican restaurant to northwest ave is a welcome occasion.

This is such a cool new place here in Bellingham. The garden in the back is a great place to relax and enjoy some good food, the inside is nice and comfy, the food was good, and the server/host was kind.
Check it out. Worth it.

These tacos were excellent, just onions and cilantro, the way it should be! The house “green” sauce was perfect heat. Go red sauce for more…

Dang! I meant to take a foodie but once I saw the dish I just dug in. This is where you want to go if you’re tired of Mexican food out of a can. The taste is made from scratch and seasoned nicely. The portions are super generous. Please know that this is order at the counter service and the delicious sauces come in plastic squeeze bottles. That said this place will be one of my regulars.

We moved here from San Antonio and believe me when I say we know great and authentic Mexican food. We were so looking forward to trying this restaurant and extremely disappointed in what we found. I always try enchiladas because they’re so simple, but what I got was a plate of cold (so cold!), tasteless rice and beans with cold enchiladas covered in some thin, runny red sauce and piled up with bland iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. Seriously, cold and no flavor. I was really hungry and didn’t even finish a third because nothing could save it. Husband ordered posole, which was also bland and disappointing. His came with chips and salsa, which turned out to be Rico’s stadium nacho chips and Pace picante salsa. Disgusting. We won’t be back. Do yourself a favor and go to Neto’s instead.
