Stumbled upon this little spot on a quick trip through the area. I was excited to find veg friendly options on the menu! Got both veg tacos and they were both delish! Service was exceptional. So friendly and helpful. They accommodated my mom who has sometimes odd requests. Plants in the windows, cutesy skeleton decor, there was even a random vw bus parked across the street. Got the “groundskeeper” tacos. Discovered the sauce was way too spicy for me so had to ask them to remake them for me without the sauce. They were great. Queso was also very good along with the chips!

It’s wild that anyone would find their food delicious much less top rated! This was the most average bland taco spot. It’s crazy that these tacos are almost $5. The tacos were bland and mostly fat. The rice bowl was a bit more flavorful. The chips were salty. Overall food was 2.5/5. The service was great though even though we waited almost 20 minutes for basic food would not recommend if you want to enjoy your food but there was a line of customers, so maybe people like this kind of food!!

Nothing memorable, nothing unappetizing. Standard food, mostly unseasoned. Nachos had barely enough cheese, not enough salsa, brisket was ok. Chips & guacamole were ok, guacamole was mostly avocado. Taco was under-seasoned. The atmosphere was good but outside only. Lots of better places to obtain tasty Mexican food.

This place is fantastic! It’s a small building. There is little room to sit inside. They have an outside area but its not cover. You won’t sit outside when it’s raining or cold. Still their food was fantastically delicious! I they have a chick, pork, brisket, ground beef, and veggie taco. All with clever names but taste amazing. You can get them as a rice bowl or nachos. Menu is very simple. That’s all you need! I had a chicken, pork, brisket taco, and chips and queso. All were tasty and it was enough to fill me up! Totally going again! Worth the trip!

Great, meaty, quickly served tacos. Friendly service, and really, it would be 5 stars except, outdoor dining isn’t a five star situation in my rating system. I’m being unfair. They deserve a solid 4.8, but what to do? Definitely go. Fair pricing. Great tacos.

A must. Absolute must! The ringer taco is always something great. And the super secret hot sauce changes too so you’re always in for a treat.
Customer service is top notch here. Food is fast and tasty as all hell. To be honest i wish i could pick this place up and take it with me back to Milwaukee. My go to when I’m in springfield!

GROUNDSKEEPER & TOFU KING! The only two we ever get. They are delicious! Chips and guac are awesome! The guys here are always friendly and fast. Only outdoor seating. Clean restrooms avail too.
