This site used to be the Potato Barn for the Pinehurst Resort. The building a reconstruction, but very close to the original.
It’s a local cultural attraction and neighborhood bar. Music, Alcohol, and friendly people. It’s not the type of local’s place where the music stops when you walk in .
Been going for years, and it’s a great place to unwind after work.

What a great little bar. Super clean and welcoming. They don’t serve food but you can go next door and have it brought over. I’m a big dart player and they have a Galaxy II soft tip board there. I spent the evening chatting with the owner Stacey who is really nice and with Kate and Steve two of the bar tenders. Just a chill spot to hangout and not have over priced drinks like some of the other local establishments.

We had the pleasure of visiting Tater’s (TB Tavern) this weekend . The lovely Katie was great to meet. She’s a great bartender & conversationalist . We are not from Pinehurst but will definitely revisit when in NC.

Great bar! Full liquor and they accept credit credits. Lots of TV’s, touch tunes and a fun, friendly group of people. Fantastic owners and bartenders. We always stop in for a cocktail when we come to Pinehurst on our golf trips.

What a great little hidden gem! Grabbed a few drinks while waiting for some food. Prices were great, tons of games, very clean, and Amber behind the bar was a blast. Super nice, whole place has a great vibe, definitely check it out if you’re looking for something a little quieter and laid back. And as a guy from NY, anytime I see a Labatt on the drink list I know it’s going to be a great spot. Check it out.

What a fun time we had there. We were on our way home when we happened on the Tater Barn. The people were so much fun, and the service was great. They are getting wine and liquor soon, and expanding. You can play darts there or just hang. It was a pleasant surprise for the ending of my birthday celebration.

Great neighborhood bar. Cold beer, wine and now mixed drinks. New owners are planning to install a new ventilation system and enlarge the building footprint in January. Smoking there is my only vice. Owners say the new system will eliminate the smoke smell. JJ is my favorite bartender. Great service and friendly atmosphere.
