The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well kept. Great menu options and several food items to fit many dietary needs. Lots of room and great decor. Staff eas friendly and we were greeted with a friend hi when we walked in. Food ordering was smooth and the order counter is played out well. Portion sizes were great and priced right. The Street Gyro is so yummy and highly recommended. Food was fresh and came out fast. We will definitely be back.

A Cozy Little Gem With Incredible Service

If you’re looking for a charming, no-frills Greek spot that instantly feels like home, this place is it. The restaurant is just the right size for walk-up dining and you can smell the fresh herbs and grilled goodness the second you step inside.

Everyone is warm, attentive, and happy to walk you through the menu, which makes the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. Even during busy moments, the staff keeps everything moving with a smile.

The food is exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood Greek restaurant: fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or settling in for a casual meal, it hits the spot every time.

All in all, a wonderful little find with great service and an inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Greek flavors in a cozy setting! Forgive our photo-it was so good we couldn’t wait to take the picture

My wife and I ate here for an early dinner tonight. This was our first visit to Taziki’s and we had been looking forward to it for a long time ever since we saw that the restaurant was coming, as we love Mediterranean food. The wait was very much worth it for us.

The staff was very friendly upon arrival. Granted, it was early in the dinner timeframe, but the service was quick and the restaurant was very clean, to include the restrooms.

This was not a slapped-together strip mall restaurant. A lot of thought and care went into the design and decorations. The pictures (with plates below some of them explaining the scene) were a great touch, the painting very good, the overhead wood added to the vibe, and the furniture was a great, fresh look that went well with the decor. Really liked the feel.

I had the grilled Harissa chicken plate with a Mediterranean salad and the basmati rice. My wife had the same, but with straight grilled chicken. All of it was absolutely delicious and really loved the salad in particular. Looking forward to trying more of the options in the future!

Another reviewer mentioned that the portion sizes were small for what you paid. We did not feel that way at all, as there was plenty of really fresh food on the plate that should be more than enough for an adult. If you’re eating more than that in one sitting, then it might be good to reassess how much you actually need…

Regarding price, mentioned by a few reviewers, overall we did not find the cost exorbitant for the amount of and freshness of the food vs. other restaurants, particularly ones that rely on a lot of ready-to-cook pre-made ingredients. These days ALL restaurant prices are much higher than just a few years ago due to labor and cost of goods. That’s just reality. Every bit of our meals looked and tasted fresh. That should be factored into a cost assessment. Either way, it was all good.

The only negative we had was, ironically, the water from the soda machine. We had ordered only water and were given cups to use with the machine and its water tap. Not sure what is going on there, but the water tasted absolutely terrible, with a strong chemical/nasty flavor to it. Highly recommend management get the servicing company to look at that and figure out what is causing that. Otherwise, everything else was outstanding.

Highly recommended.

SUPER…..glad I only ordered á kids meal because it was SUPER….disgusting; even if I didn’t know what real, decent and or delicious Mediterranean food is supposed to taste like, I would not return.

The space itself is clean and spacious or so it seems, and the lady who served me at the register was pleasant and well educated about menu options so I appreciated that, but man! For stating I’d been excitedly waiting for this place to open ever since construction began and now finally I was tasting for the first time, I’m soooo disappointed this is what I received!

First off, if your name is taziki’s your sauce of the names origin needs to be amazing, but the word my brain associated their tzatziki? “Foot.” It was muted and not cold but just more like room temp, and where are the cucumbers? You can see the shreds but whatever that seasoning is? Just EW, NO!

In the pics you’ll see rice that’s white and yellow; there was so much of that I was excited to think it’s a special sorta rice, but nope! All the dark yellow is hard as a rock, stick you in the teeth crispy because it is old, NOT seasoned special or anything.

The chicken, you can see, wasn’t juicy but dry. So dry you can see where the one little piece on the right looks like sponge. Cuke and tomato salad just swims in vinegar.

no, No, NO, and HELL NO!

And who puts basil over oregano in tomato salad where they serve their version of Greek lemon soup? ‍♀️ ‍♀️

Nice setup. Menu reads well. No true gyro style protein. Had the lamb gyro. It was good. Smaller portions than what you’d expect for the price. Side of chips portion with the was actually laughable. Tomato/Cucumber salad was crudely cut and just looked thrown together. Will give some other chances as this place ramps up to try other menu items and see if portions/plating/quality/flavor gets better. Just know there are other Mediterranean style restaurants in the area with same price points, larger portions, solid plating and most importantly very flavorful.

Came in for the lamb burger and lamb gyro. Was not disappointed. Everything was very good. We left satisfied and not bloated or over stuffed. Nice setting. Calm and relaxing after a long day.

I was greeted warmly when entering and my order was taken promptly. It felt like a deli of sorts. I ordered the street gyro plate and asked for no chips, but rather just rice. I was charged an additional .85 for the rice which is fine but I also get a side of rice and still got chips I didn’t want. Not sure about my order. I did order the lemon chicken and rice soup as well and I did order my meal to go. I did get my order pretty quickly but I noticed my name was butchered like I was in Starbucks. And it’s 3 letters. If you didn’t hear me, please ask again. The sit down tables are nice bit not as homey as other Mediterranean places I have tried in SA. The food is ok. Not the best. The soup is indeed lemony and I like lemons so it wasn’t a big deal. But I can see this soup not every ones cup of tea. The rice was ok and pretty fresh. No crunchy bits which I like. As for the street gyro. I have to preface I am a hard core gyro guy. I lived in Queens NY for a number of years and I know Greek food. I had a Greek family as owners of a business I worked for growing up, so I even know what home made Greek food is supposed to taste like. So I have to say the street gyro was the greasiest gyro I’ve ever eaten and it’s one of the smallest I’ve had to date. Overall not bad taste wise per se, but I’d rather eat at the taco joint across the street and it’s less greasy.

I loved Taziki’s when I lived in Alabama, so I was very excited when the San Antonio location opened. There’s nothing like the “Friday Special” aka Signature Pasta! The prices are great and if you have kiddos, the menu is super kid friendly.
